Refunding items to our Fortnite account means that Epic Games will refund us the amount of what we have purchased, either because we made a purchase by mistake or because we just wanted to try a particular skin but we are not convinced by it. To refund, return or cancel purchases we have made with V-Bucks with our Fortnite account we have to do the following:
- From the lobby, press START or equivalent to open the menu on the left.
- Go to the gear icon and click on Settings.
- We go to the Account and Privacy tab, on the far right.
- We click on Return or Cancel Purchase within Recent Purchases.
If we have done this correctly, we arrive at our Fortnite purchase history.
From here we can use a Refund Ticket to request the removal of a particular item or batch of items from our inventory . The V-Bucks will be added back to our balance, but the corresponding item(s) will be removed from our Locker.
We can accumulate up to three refund tickets at a time , and they are automatically granted to us when 365 days have passed since we have used one . The system is designed this way to avoid abuse of the refund system. This is for returns of items purchased with V-Bucks.
For items purchased with real money (Euros, Dollars, Pesos…), we have to contact the customer service of the platform where we made the purchase.
