How to recover your Facebook password from your phone without changing it

Basically, it’s about trying to track any access credentials saved in your smartphone’s browsers or apps – you can’t always do it, but as they say, trying doesn’t hurt!
Android
If you have an Android smartphone (or a tablet, the procedure to follow is always the same), to try to recover Facebook passwords from your mobile phone you can contact the password manager integrated in the system. This is the feature that is enabled on Android when you connect your smartphone to a Google account and allows you to store (and view) your website and application login details in a cloud-based safe.
To use it, grab your device, unlock it, go to the home screen or drawer, and tap the settings icon (the gear icon). On the new screen you see at this point, tap Google and then tap the Manage your Google account button.
Next, select the Security tab, touch the Password manager item attached to the Access to other sites section and you will be shown the full list of websites and applications for which you have chosen to save your access data.
Locate your Facebook credentials (if available) and tap on them. If necessary, you can help your search using the middle search bar.
Next, unlock access to the data using the code to protect your device, fingerprint or the recognition system configured in Android and touch the eye symbol in the password field to display it in clear text.
iPhone
To be successful on the iPhone, you can use the iCloud Keychain instead. It is a system available on iOS (as well as on iPadOS and macOS), linked to your iCloud account, which allows you to save – and then recover – the passwords you type in Safari and in your applications.
To use it, take your iPhone (or iPad, the process is more or less the same), unlock it, go to the home screen and press the settings icon (the one shaped like a gear wheel). On the screen that appears next, tap Password & account, then tap the Password & Websites app and unlock passwords using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device’s unlock code.
On the screen that will appear, you will see a complete list of the sites and applications for which you have chosen to store the login information on your device.
Then, locate Facebook (if it exists), touch its icon (the one with the blue background and the white “f”), and you will be able to see your password in clear text. If necessary, you can help find the social network using the search bar at the top.
How to recover your mobile phone’s Facebook password by resetting it
Putting into practice the instructions I gave you in the previous lines, you could not track your credentials to access Facebook. All you have to do is reset your account password so you can access it again. I will tell you how to proceed.
To get started, grab your device, unlock it, go to the home screen or, for Android only, to the drawer and select the Facebook application icon (the one with the blue background and the white “f”). On the social network login screen now displayed, tap the Forgot your password? Item. on the bottom.
Then find your account in the list that is offered to you. If your account is not mentioned, to find it, click on the button I am not in the list below and enter your first and last name or the email address associated with your profile in the appropriate field. Then select the most relevant suggestion.
Alternatively, you can enter the phone number that you have decided to associate with your account in the search field at the top of the screen with the list of suggested profiles. Only on iOS, in the same field you can directly enter your email address.
Once you have selected the correct account, press the Continue button and enter in the corresponding field the security code that has been sent to you by email or SMS, depending on the data associated with your account and the options proposed to you .
Next, tap the Continue button again and decide whether you want to stay connected to other devices that may be connected to your account or disconnect them by selecting the option you prefer and pressing the Continue button again.
Next, complete the password reset process by typing the new passkey you want to use for your account in the password reset field and hitting the Continue button. Finally, if everything has gone well, you will finally find yourself in front of the Facebook home page and you can start using your account again.
