Leveling up the Battle Pass Season 2, Chapter 4 has not become more difficult than before. The main rule for leveling up the Battle Pass is the same – play a lot and different games.
If you are an experienced fortnite player, then you will hardly find something new for yourself, because fortnite has found its own path and is following it without much change. And in this article, we will analyze all the details of pumping, and also tell you about the fastest ways to level up the battle pass in season 2, chapter 4 of fortnite. Why download the fortnite battle pass?
The most important thing is to understand why we download the battle pass. If you have been playing the game for a long time, then you can skip this step, but if you are a beginner, it is important to understand that the battle pass is the cheapest way to get unique fortnite skins. However, just buying a battle pass is not enough, you also need to upgrade it, because. For each new level of the Battle Pass, you will receive new rewards.
To get all the unique rewards, you need to upgrade the 100th level of the battle pass. But if you want to get all the extra styles as well, you’ll need to upgrade the Battle Pass to level 200.
In the screenshot, you can see which part of the rewards for which level is unlocked. Based on your desires, you can allocate the time that you are willing to spend on the gameplay.
Important! Last season had “Mid Season Rewards” and required you to reach 50 levels for additional styles. In general, there was no problem, but those who reached level 200 in the first days were already swaying with difficulty, this season such styles are presented as tests.
How much experience do you need to level 1 BP?
Previously, the developers used unique values for each level, but in Season 2, Chapter 3, everything changed and continues to this day. Each level of the Battle Pass costs 80,000 XP . The value does not change from level 1 to level 200, but after that the values become different, but within the framework of this article, this information no longer carries value, because we are bounty hunters, and after level 200 there are no rewards.
- You need 80,000 XP to level 1
- For level 100 you need – 7,920,000 XP
- Level 200 Requires – 15,920,000 XP
Therefore, you can skip the math and just remember that in order to get another 5 stars, you need to farm 80,000 experience.
What level should be now?
On streams (which no longer exist), we were often asked what level is relevant now or what level you need to have now in order to get level 200 by the end of the season. But my favorite question is: “ I have a *** level – is this normal? “.
To dispel all such questions, we have prepared a chart that will allow you to determine the required level based on the current day. The graph shows 2 lines: one of them is responsible for leveling up to level 100, and the second for leveling up to level 200. If your level matches or exceeds the one presented in the chart for the day, then you are doing well, if not, then you need to slightly speed up the pace of your pumping.
How many levels per day to download
If you want to do math, the plan is as follows:
- A little more than 1 level per day – if you want 100 level
- And about 2.5 levels per day – if you want to get level 200
What are the ways to get experience in fortnite season 2 chapter 4?
Conventionally, gaining experience in Fortnite can be divided into 3 blocks, based on sources:
- Battle Royale – Free Mode
- Creative Mode – Free Mode
- Storm Fight (PVE) Mode – This mode is paid
Each mode has its own ways to farm experience, and all of these modes affect the leveling of the battle pass in fortnite battle royale.
Battle Royale Experience
If you only play the royal battle, then the following types of experience are available for you.
Daily Challenges
Every day, an unlimited number of challenges are available in the game, which give 1,000 experience for each execution. However, only the first 3 of them will give an additional 15k experience . In total, the first 3 tests will give 48 thousand experience and their completion is very important here without any changes, relative to previous seasons.
Important! In the early days, there was an additional daily experience mission for creative mode, but later the mission disappeared.
The season lasts 84 days or 12 weeks , so if you complete 3 tasks every day, then by the end of the season, daily tasks will give you: 4,032,000 experience . This is equal to 50 Battle Pass levels.
Milestones
Milestones are tasks that are designed to consistently reward the player for a long gameplay. There are 10 different milestones in Season 2, Chapter 4 . It makes little sense to purposefully carry out such tests, because. they are made in such a way that you can complete them just by playing fortnite. Each milestone consists of 20 stages, and each stage is rewarded with 6,000 experience.
In total, for the entire season, completing milestones, you can get 1,200,000 experience . But, as a rule, you will be able to complete about 70% of the milestones and you should expect an amount of experience in the region of 800,000.
And here is the entire list of milestones:
- Activate upgrades
- Thank the bus driver
- Deal damage to opponents
- Eliminate opponents
- Charge your shields
- Outlive the players
- Complete daily tasks
- Search chests or ammo boxes
- Get Rewards
- Cover the distance in a vehicle
It is also worth noting that you can get additional experience for completing stages. Initially, for every 5 stages you will receive 20,000 experience. But then the interval will increase and you will need to complete more milestones to get the same bonus. However, completing all stages can give you an additional 500,000 .
It makes no sense to purposefully farm milestones, because. 6000 is still low compared to other types of farming.
Weekly Challenges
Weekly challenges are now presented in 2 types: “This Season” and “Trials”.
“This Season” also consists of 2 subtypes of challenges. The first part, called the X-week, is the good old weekly challenges. Once a week you will receive new tasks that are simple, but if there are problems, our site will always help.
In total, for all the tests you will receive approximately 700,000 experience, and also do not forget about additional goals that will be completed by themselves and, as a result of levels 30 , you will receive just for seasonal tests.
Story Challenges (Syndicate Missions)
Challenges that are updated 2-3 times per season. Completing them gives relatively little experience, but it’s definitely worth doing them at least for the sake of the story part, which is quite interesting this season.
In total, for all story challenges, you will receive about 420,000 experience. This is very small, but often rewards in the form of in-game items are given for completing them.
Story Challenges are now in the This Season section .
Tests
This section also contains weekly challenges, but they will be updated every Tuesday. Tasks do not represent anything interesting, but they give a lot of experience.
Each block of tests will add 300,000 experience to your piggy bank weekly.
Turbo
A new type of test that was added with the start of Chapter 4. Each such test gives 25,000 experience, and there are 8 of them in total. In total, 1 block of such tests will allow you to get 200,000 experience. These tests are not updated and are available for passing only 1 time.
Event Challenges
The last type of challenge that experience can provide is the event challenge. This type of challenge appears during the period of collaborations and holidays. Such tests appear for a short period of time and it is impossible to calculate the experience for their completion, but usually it is about 500,000 – 1,000,000 experience.
Performing game actions
Any in-game action also gives additional experience, which seems insignificant, but in total over the season turns into huge values. So, just opening chests, surviving, inflicting a series of blows on weak spots, you will gain experience. It will not be much, but for those who play Fortnite often, it will be a good increase in level.
The result of experience in the royal battle:
Tests: | Experience: | Levels: |
Daily | 4 032 000 | 50 per season |
Milestones | 1 200 000 | 15 per season |
weekly | Soon | Soon |
Event | of 800,000 | of 10 per season |
Experience in creative mode
Creative mode is a standalone mode in Fortnite that consists of user-created maps. It is very difficult to calculate all the experience that can be obtained in creative mode, because. for the same actions, each time, the experience will give less and less, but the indicator does not fall to zero. Judging by our tests, you are guaranteed to receive 240,000 experience every day , or 3 levels , however, this amount may be higher, but each next unit of experience will require more time.
Important! You need to understand that the experience in creative mode is not limited, but there is conditionally called quick and standard experience. The standard experience is extremely small, but it cannot be exhausted – it is from 1 to 6 experience per second of the game. And there is a quick experience. relatively speaking, this is a daily bag of experience from which experience is thrown to you for all the same actions. And it is worth talking about its restoration separately.
The recovery goes like this:
- Part of the experience is restored after exactly 24 hours (i.e. if you received 1 experience today at 12:01, then it will return to the quick experience bag – tomorrow at 12:01)
- Part of the experience is restored at 16:00 daily, along with the update of the daily challenges.
It is also worth noting that there is a cumulative effect, and if you have not played for several days, then your conditional “experience bag” will be full and you will be given more experience for the same actions. But a daily game will give more than a creative game every 3 days but with additional experience.
In total, you can get more than 24,960,000 experience per season , which is equal to receiving approximately 300 levels of the battle pass. But for this you need to play creative mode every day.
How to get experience in creative mode?
We talked about how much experience you can get, but did not talk about how to earn it. You cannot gain experience by playing absolutely any cards – you need to choose special ones. Cards that can give you experience are marked with a special icon when choosing modes. On cards that give experience, you will see an XP icon.
However, all cards are not equally effective and some of them give more experience, while others less. Every season we make a selection of the most effective cards, and this season there are quite a lot of them – see the article about creative mode cards .
As you can see, we can just play the whole season in creative mode and get to level 200, but it’s important to combine this experience with other challenges and modes.
Experience in Storm Control
In Season 2, Chapter 4, experience was nevertheless raised and the daily limit is now 350,000 experience per game in this mode. But this is only the experience for the gameplay, but the experience for tasks (daily, weekly, etc.) is not included in this number and is considered separately.
Quest experience has been reduced:
- You can also earn up to 68,000 XP daily for additional challenges in Endurance Challenges.
- Each daily quest in PVE – 21,000 experience (was 33,000)
- Each weekly – 93,000 experience (was 138,000 per day)
- War Games Daily Challenges – 36,000 XP
- Event missions 100,000 more experience (if any)
However, there are several nuances that make this method less attractive:
- PVE mode (Storm battle) – paid (but you can buy it in our store). You won’t be able to run it if you haven’t bought it before. And although many people have this mode, but for beginners this method of farming is not available and requires extra spending both money and time.
- You need to play quite a lot. Experience is not given in a second, and in order to farm 400,000+ experience, you will have to spend 2-3 hours of time. Of course, it can be switched to afk mode, but the computer will be loaded, and fortnite is now very demanding on the system.
- process uniformity. It should be understood that such an experience farm is like a grind in an MMORPG. You repeat the same actions over and over again and the gameplay will bring little pleasure.
How to farm experience in PVE?
First, let’s figure out where the PVE mode is located. It can be launched through the mode selection menu. It will be in the “ Play it how you like ” item with a note from Epic Games.
PvE mode consists of locations in which there are special modes that differ from each other and give a different amount of experience for their implementation. However, there is one feature, and it lies in the fact that no matter what location you play in, the experience is the same and it is most profitable to play in the first location (Stonewood).
Stonewood
We decided on the location, now let’s go over the modes and experience for completing each of them:
Mode | Experience | Travel time |
Portal Destruction | 25,000 XP (all) | 5-20 minutes |
To meet the storm | 41 000 XP | 12 minutes |
Data collection | 32 000 XP | up to 20 minutes |
Kill and collect | up to 30,000 XP | 10 minutes |

Frost Wars | up to 258,800 XP | up to 2 hours |
Shelter evacuation | 45 000 XP | 17-20 minutes |

How to farm afk experience
In the battle with the storm, you can also farm experience in afk mode, but we immediately say that this is not a quick process and will require you to not play fortnite for about 2.5 hours, but just keep the game open. And we will do all this in the tasks “Strength test”.
You need to do the following:
- Enter PVE mode (Stormbreak)
- Choose a location
- Double click on the main base in this location
- Select Storm Shield (Help)
- Next, you need to wait until the game is found and as a result of the search there can be 2 outcomes
- In the first case, you will just get a mission with shield protection, for completing it you will receive from 50,000 to 80,000 experience, but you can just exit and repeat the steps above
- In the second option, you will come across the tasks “Strength Test”. When loading onto a map, you will immediately see a notification about this in the center of the screen. In 90% of cases, such bases are already completely built up and you do not need to help the owner in protecting it, but you just need to stand up AFK.
- We wait about 2 hours and 30 minutes and get 350,000 experience.
Stonewood
Home Base (Shield)
Help
Test of endurance
Important notes :
- It is best to ask the owner of the shield if he needs help or if he can stand afk
- There are no kicks for afk in this mode and there are no penalties
- If you see that everything is well built up – do not try to help, because you will change the path of the zombies and thereby only harm the owner of the shield. It’s better to just stand up afk (but ask the owner first)
Experience in Impostors
The mode has been removed from the game.
The fastest way to farm in season 2 chapter 4
And now let’s put everything together and make a small “to do list” that will be useful to every player who wants to upgrade their battle pass faster.
So, your gameplay should consist of the following:
- You need to enter the royal battle daily and complete 3 daily tasks, or just go into the game to get a bonus to experience in the future.
- It is important to complete all seasonal tasks.
- Next, you need to go into creative mode and play maps that offer a lot of experience in a short amount of time, such as these maps for farming experience. You need to play until you get about 2-3 levels. Usually it is no more than 30-40 minutes.
- We go to PVE mode and perform either shield defense in AFK mode (see article), or complete absolutely any mission from the table. You can play up to the experience limit (remember – this is 480,000) or until you get bored.
Such simple actions will allow you to get level 200 in 1 month, or even faster.
Bottom line: If you just want to pump 100 levels, then you just need to play 2-3 days a week and complete all the battle royale challenges. If you want level 200, then you need to sometimes go into creative mode and play its cards. Well, if you want to level up as fast as possible, then you have the whole theory and guide for fast leveling.
