The only way to put a long video on WhatsApp status is to divide it into several 30-second segments. The video will be shown in different consecutive states , however, it will be possible to observe all the content. Users who wish to perform this action must follow the following steps:
- Open the WhatsApp application and go to the Status section.
- Select the My Status option.
- Locate the video you want to upload and select it.
- The application will select the first 30 seconds automatically,as indicated by the bar at the top of the video.
- Press the publish option.
To place the rest of the video, you must repeat the first three steps, and then carefully slide the upper bar and place it in the time segment 0:30 – 1:00 , as shown in the image above. In this way, a different fraction of the video will have been selected from the previous one. If the video lasts more than a minute, this process must be repeated as many times as necessary.
