Instagram is geared towards mobile users. However, there are workarounds. We know 3 simple ways to post on Insta without having a smartphone nearby . Here they are.
How to upload a photo to Instagram from a computer (via the browser code)
You will need a Google Chrome browser and a few minutes of free time. The photo can be uploaded after following the steps described in the table:

Via the official Instagram app on PC
Another way to post a photo on Instagram, which is suitable only for owners of computers based on Windows 10 . You need to go to the Windows application store, where the desired program is located. We recommend that you do the following before downloading.
- Log in to the Windows store.
- Enter Instagram in the search bar, and download the program.
- Log in to Insta.
- Tap on the camera icon from above.
- Allow access to the webcam (otherwise the program will not allow uploading pictures).
- Add photos that are in the Pictures / Camera folder. In other “places”, Instagram does not “see the photo” yet, so you will have to copy the necessary pictures to that folder.
