How to pause an alarm in the Google Clock app
Surely on some occasion you have found yourself in the situation of having to temporarily pause an alarm that you had configured using the Google clock app , but in the end you ended up deleting it because you did not know how to do it.
For this reason, today we are going to tell you how you can pause an alarm with the clock application of the big G so that it stops working for a certain period of time . This hidden function of the Google clock is really useful especially when you go on vacation, since you can pause the usual alarms and set new ones during the time you are off work. Thus, when the end date of the pause of the alarms you have set is reached, the normal alarms will be automatically reactivated .
To pause an alarm on your Android phone , just follow these simple steps:
- Open the Google Clock app
- Select the alarm you want to pause
- Tap the drop-down menu that appears to the right of it and is identified by a down arrow icon.
- Click on the button with the “+” sign on the right side of the Pause alarm section
- Choose a start date and an end date from the calendar below.
- Click the OK button in the lower right corner to stop the alarm from working for the selected days.
Once this is done, the selected alarm will stop working for the chosen period of time and the rest of the alarms you have activated will continue to function normally .If you change your mind and want to disable a snooze period on an alarm, simply access the alarm’s drop-down menu and tap the “forbidden” icon that appears on the right side of the Pause alarm option .
