How to open chests and boxes in Stellar Blade

In the sci-fi action game Stellar Blade, players will not only have to fight various opponents, but also solve puzzles that will allow them to reach hidden regions and/or open chests with valuable rewards.

Many of these containers will be locked, and you will have to look for codes and passwords to unlock them. In this article, we will tell you how to open all the chests and boxes, as well as where to look for codes and passwords for them.

Types of Chests and Boxes

In Stellar Blade, there are several types of containers that you can encounter while playing the game. Let’s divide them into main categories:

  • Regular boxes are opened without the need to enter a code or password. They contain mainly basic resources.
  • Locked chests – require a code or password to unlock. Inside are valuable items such as weapons, upgrades or rare materials.
  • Secret chests are hidden in hard to reach places and may require either entering a password or performing certain actions.

Where to look for codes and passwords

Terminal Hints

Terminals can be found in many locations in the game that contain important information. Some of them contain codes needed to open locked chests. When interacting with a terminal, read the messages carefully and pay attention to any sequences of numbers or symbols. For example, in the level with the research station, one of the terminals displays a message on the screen with a code for a nearby chest. This code must be remembered and used to open the box.

Notes and documents

Often codes can be found on various documents scattered around locations. These documents can be either regular text entries or digital files that need to be viewed through the inventory. For example, abandoned laboratories may contain old reports from scientists that mention access codes to boxes with important resources.

Holographic clues

In some cases, you can see holographic messages left by previous inhabitants of Earth. They appear as visual marks on the walls or floor, contain important information, and can often suggest a code for a nearby chest.

Puzzles

To get some codes, you need to solve a puzzle . In such cases, the player needs to be observant and logical. For example, you can find boxes that require matching certain symbols or activating environmental elements in the correct sequence to open.
