We tell you how to make the Hang Glider in LEGO Fortnite and what it is used for. Complete guide to know how to create the Hang Glider.

The Hang Glider is a very useful tool in LEGO Fortnite that allows us to travel great distances in a short time. On this page of our complete guide to the game we tell you how to create the Hang Glider and what materials are needed :

How to Make the Hang Glider in LEGO Fortnite: step by step and required materials

To craft the Glider we need a Crafting Bench of at least Rare rarity, a Sawmill, a Stone Breaker, a Spinning Wheel and a Loom . To obtain all the necessary materials we need to have located the Grasslands biome, a Cave and the Dry Valley biome (desert)

  1. First we create a Crafting Bench : 3 Wood and 5 Granite.
  2. We create a Sawmill : 8 Wood + 15 Granite.
  3. We upgraded the Crafting Bench from Common (White) to Uncommon (Green) : 8 Plank + 3 Shell.
  4. We create a Stonebreaker : 20 Rootknot + 35 Marble.
  5. We upgraded the Crafting Bench from Uncommon (Green) to Rare (Blue) : 12 Knotroot Rod + 15 Marble Slab + 6 Sand Claw + 3 Sand Shell.
  6. We create a Spinning Wheel : 8 Planks + 5 Wooden Rods + 5 Wood + 5 Wolf Claws.
  7. We create a Loom : 9 Flexiwood + 8 Flexiwood Rod + 6 Sand Claw.
  8. We craft the Hang Glider at the Rare Crafting Bench : 8 Flexwood Rod + 4 Wool Fabric + 6 Silk Fabric.

We obtain the materials needed to make the Delta Wing in the following way:

  • Shell : Dropped by Spinners in the Grasslands after being killed.
  • Sand Shell – Dropped by Sand Spinners found in Dry Valleys, Lava Caves, and Coasts after being killed.
  • Flexiwood : Mined using Axes on cacti found in Dry Valleys.
  • Sand Claw – Dropped by Sand Wolves in Dry Valleys after being killed.
  • Wolf Claw : Obtained by killing Wolves in the Grasslands.
  • Granite : Obtained by collecting it directly from the ground or by using Pickaxes on the Granite rocks found in many locations.
  • Wool Thread : Obtained by processing Wool at the Spinning Wheel.
  • Silk Thread : Obtained by processing Silk at the Spinning Wheel.
  • Wool : Obtained by petting Sheep or killing them. Sheep are found in the Grasslands.
  • Marble Slab – Obtained by processing Marble in the Stone Breaker.
  • Wood : Obtained by collecting it directly from the ground or by using Axes on the trees in the Grasslands.
  • Marble: It is extracted from the Marble veins found in the Caves using Pickaxes.
  • Root Knot : Obtained by cutting the roots in the Caves with Axes.
  • Silk : Obtained by killing Spiders of different types in different biomes.
  • Plank : Obtained by processing Wood at Sawmills.
  • Wool Fabric : Obtained by processing Wool Thread on the Loom.
  • Silk Fabric : Obtained by processing Silk Thread on the Loom.
  • Flexwood Rod – Obtained by processing Flexwood at the Lumber Mill.
  • Wooden Rod – Obtained by processing Wood at the Sawmill.
  • Knotroot Rod – Obtained by processing Knotroot at the Lumber Mill.

With the Glider in our possession, we must take it to its corresponding slot in the “Equipment” section . We open the inventory and move it there. Having the Glider in the inventory is useless.

What is the Hang Glider for in LEGO Fortnite?

Just like in Fortnite, in LEGO Fortnite the Hang Glider allows us to cover great distances with little effort . Simply jump from a high point and press the jump button in the air to deploy the Hang Glider and glide :

Having the Hang Glider allows us to move from one place to another more quickly . The most efficient way to move around the game, in the absence of being able to create vehicles to pilot, is to create lots of stairs (for example with Wood) and jump from the highest point to glide. However, keep in mind that the Hang Glider does not give us infinite gliding ; the stamina bar is reduced little by little and when it reaches zero our character will put away the Hang Glider. Keep this in mind if you don’t want to die because you fell from a great height.
