How to make a small and easy town hall in Minecraft?

If you already have your village and you want it to be complete, making a town hall in Minecraft is the next logical step. The mayor would live in it, although it is probably your new home for the same reason .

Many are the options you have to do it, from replicas of famous buildings in real life to fantastic structures. But you are looking for a comfortable, coherent and simple structure to do, nothing more basic than resorting to a town hall that does not clash with its surroundings .

If you have a small village, you can use techniques to attract villagers to grow your village. In order to grow your village it is very necessary that you put the villagers to work and if you wish you can change their work and profession.

Get a village

This is essential as a first step, as the differences between one village and another are more pronounced thanks to the latest updates. In this way, in each case the materials to be used will vary, although when making a town hall in Minecraft the design is basically the same. Prairie villages will be used as a reference for this tutorial .

Choose the area

Within the village choose a good location for your town hall. The most important thing is that you have a flat space of at least 11 × 8 blocks , because that is where you will build the structure. If you can’t find a suitable location, slightly modify the terrain and create a street to the site.

Gather materials

According to each type of village, they usually use the resources of their environment. This way, you shouldn’t go too far to make a town hall in Minecraft.

In this case you will only need 64 oak logs, 8 sand blocks, 55 cobblestone blocks and 3 coals. So arm yourself with an ax, a pick and a shovel and explore the surroundings.

Now with all the basic resources, it is time to get down to work and start building. To do this, you must first create all the pieces you will need and then place them in place.

Creating the pieces

The sand you have collected is the raw material for the windows . To obtain the crystal you only have to heat it in the oven using the necessary charcoal, 2 surely. The stone that you have mined and that is now cobble will be used as is, so you do not need to modify it.

As for wood, transform everything into wood except 8 logs as they will be used later . With the wood, use it to create 78 stairs (you will have 5 left at the end), a door and 4 sticks. Finally, make at least one torch, although you can take advantage of as many as you want.

Assembling the pieces

Once you have everything ready, it is time to place each element in its rightful place. First, you will make a 9 x 6 rectangle, entirely of cobblestone, on the ground. In the corners there is a paving stone column two blocks high. Between each column, place a second line of paving stone.

Once this is done, it is the turn of the wood so fill the paver rectangle with wood . On each paving stone column, place a block of wood and from there place a wooden rectangle equal to the one below.

With this basic structure, it is time to place walls and ceiling. For the roof, place an additional line of wood inside the longest sides of the wood rectangle. On this second line and inwards, place 4 more rows of wood from length to length with which you will have the roof closed.

Finally place two more rows in the center, the same from side to side and you are ready to decorate r. You will do this with the stairs always marking from the outside to the inside. With this on both sides you will have the eaves of your town hall ready.

The door will be located 3 blocks from the corner, on one of the longest sides. For the walls, fill in the missing holes (not counting the door) with wood, logs and glass. Always take care that there is a trunk on each side of the glass. At the shorter ends there will be no wood on the wall only log.

It only remains to place a ladder under the door and torches inside, on the roof. Ready, you have managed to make a town hall in Minecraft of a classic and traditional cut.

If your village is far from any water source like the ocean or a river, you can create an infinite water hole or a farm where you can care for and keep animals.
