There are different methods with which you can customize your charts or tables in PowerPoint , among these methods are the following:

Add data layout

You can add animations to your slide as well as elements with which you can add titles, subtitles or any other information to the graphics, to achieve this you just have to follow the following steps:

Go to the toolbar and select the insert option.

  • After the above, you can add a text box by clicking on the Text Box option located in the upper right, you can also place a figure where you can add text,you just have to click on the shapes option and then select one of them.
  • You can add color to the text box or you can also change the color if you already have it.
  • Add content to the box to the form, you just have to click on the box or form and start entering information.
  • Drag the shape or text box or shape to where you want to place it.
  • Click on the object you just dragged and click on the format option.
  • Now click on the Style option.
  • After the above, go to the bottom and click on the option define as text placeholder and voila added a data layout to your graphics.

Use the color palette

With the color palette that PowerPoint offers you, you can modify the colors of the graphs or tables that you enter or that you create on your slide, you just have to do the following:

  • Click on the graphics.
  • Click on the format option

  • Click on the chart and after that on the presentation tab.
  • At the top of the screen you will find the Presentation option, click on it and then on the Graph Title option.
  • Now click on Label of the axes and select the option to hide or show the label of either the vertical or horizontal axis, display the label of one of the axes, modify the orientation of this label.
  • Click on the legend option choose a location so that the legend appears
  • In the data labels option, click to show the data of the graph, that’s how you will have added legends to your graphs.

First method 

  • Enter the PowerPoint presentation.
  • Click on the table option located on the left side of the screen, select the number of boxes with which you want to form your table and then click.

  • You can design a table or graph in Excel, you just have to click on the table option.
