How to increase RAM on Android devices

Many users of Android phones and tablets are faced with an unpleasant situation – a few years after the purchase, their device starts to slow down. The reason is simple – applications and files load RAM, and it is difficult for it to cope with even the simplest tasks. In this article, we’ll look at three main ways to solve this problem.

  • Disable unnecessary applications. Go to Application Manager and then open the Memory Usage menu. There you can disable those programs that you do not use.

[*] [b] Remove programs / b]. If the previous method did not help, you can get rid of unnecessary applications for good. Unfortunately, some of them cannot be removed using standard tools. We recommend using additional software such as Super Cleaner, DU Speed Buster or CCleaner. It will allow you to bypass system restrictions and remove any application. But be careful – some system programs are important for the operation of your device, and it is undesirable to touch them.

  • Use of specialized applications. They will create a paging file that will significantly increase the amount of RAM. For example, you can use the SWAPit RAM Expander program. You will have to download it not on Google Play, but on third-party sites, for example, w3bsit3-dns.com. After installation, grant the program superuser rights. Select Optimal from the menu and then Swap Aktiv. After scanning the device, a paging file will be created. There are other similar applications – RAM Manager, ROEHSOFT RAM Expander.
