Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry in Capcom’s popular action game series, and while it introduces new elements like wirebugs and Palamutes, there are many that remain the same, like the ‘leveling’ system. and the ranks of hunters (HR). Your HR determines the types of hunts you can take on, so it’s important to level up as much as you can. Here’s how to increase your hunter rank in Monster Hunter Rise .
Hunter Rank (HR) increased in Monster Hunter Rise
As in previous entries in the series, the more hunts you do, the faster your hunter rank will increase.
The higher your heart rate, the more hunts you can take and the difficulty will also increase. However, only certain hunts will allow you to progress with your HR.
First of all, it is important to note that your hunter rank for the village and center missions is independent.
Village missions are only intended to advance the story and can only be done in single player mode, while Hub missions can be attempted in single player or multiplayer.
This means that even if you have reached HR4 with the Village missions, you will still need to complete the Level 1 Hub missions and upgrade your HR Hub as well.
The good news is that once you’ve completed enough Village Quests, you can land a quest or special exam that will instantly increase your Hub Hunter Rank.
When it comes to missions to do, be sure to look up the key missions on your mission list when talking to Hinoa or Minoto. When you speak to one of the maids, you will see a red symbol next to the mission name, indicating that it is a key mission.
Do enough and your HR will increase, allowing you to unlock more difficult hunts. The number of key missions you need to complete will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen whenever you are in Kamura Village, allowing you to keep track of your progress.
