The Villagers that come to our Town in LEGO Fortnite are NPCs that can help us continue developing our settlement and can accompany us on our adventures. On this page of our complete LEGO Fortnite guide we tell you everything about them: how to have more Villagers and how to give them orders .
Villagers are NPCs that can come to our Towns to stay and help us develop them . To get them to come to our Town we must first build a Town Square. This is done as part of the first steps of the game.
With a Town Square built, the first Villager should appear soon (Team Leader Cuddles doesn’t count because he only gives us advice about the game). To make a Villager stay in our Town, we must build a Bed for him (they are built with 10 Wood) and then talk to him and tell him to live with us .
We can have up to five Villagers at a time in the same Village . Below we leave you with the Villager advantages that we unlock by leveling up the Village:
- Level 1: Friendly Explorers visit the Village, and new Villager space.
- Level 2: Hired collectors.
- Level 3: Villagers sometimes give away items and new Villager slots.
- Level 4: You can ask Villagers to prepare food, mine Seeds, or prepare plots for farming.
- Level 5: Rare Explorers will visit the Village, Villagers have additional health and defense and new Villager slot.
- Level 6: Villagers can now smelt metals, refine fabrics, and collect gems, and Carver Villagers can produce more types of Stone.
- Level 7: Villagers can gift new and special recipes.
- Level 8: New Villager space.
- Level 9: Villagers can gather resources from other biomes, Lumberjack Villagers produce more types of Wood and Carver Villagers produce more types of Stone.
- Level 10: New Villager space.
To have five Villagers in a Town at once, it must be Level 10.
How to give orders to villagers in LEGO Fortnite
To give orders to Villagers in LEGO Fortnite we must first make sure that our Village meets the level and free Beds requirements for them to stay . Once this is done, we speak to one of them and in the dialogue options we choose Let’s talk about tasks! . We can give the following orders:
- Let’s explore – The Villager follows us everywhere, helps us fight enemies and collect resources. We can give them Weapons and Tools to make them more efficient. If they die, they respawn in a short time with us.
- Help the Village! – The Villager performs the indicated task. Villagers can grow food, prepare food, mine seeds, refine stone, refine wood, gather nearby resources, smelt metal, collect gems or weave. Many of these tasks are locked and to unlock them we have to build the necessary Workbenches or level up the Village.
Please note that if you order them to work, it will take a while to get results . When they have a green icon over their heads, it means they have finished their daily work and when you talk to them with the option How is work going? they will give you the generated items .
It is a good idea to order Villagers to work because they can effectively generate resources “out of thin air” , and can save us trips.
