How to get the true ending in Blasphemous

We show you how you can get the true ending of Blasphemous, which leads to its second installment. There’s no doubt that the three alternate endings we have in Blasphemous are insane, with this one, the true ending, taking the cake. Once you’ve finished the game, you’ll be able to start the second one , linking both of them together perfectly, which is certainly what I’m doing after having tryhardened like crazy this installment —which, if you can’t tell, I’ve loved— and so, apart from bringing you a guide on the endings , I can start writing about Blasphemous II.

As I mentioned in the guide about the good and bad endings , this is the most difficult to get , since you will have to know the game mechanics well enough so that it does not take you longer than expected.

How to get the true ending in Blasphemous

Main Bosses

Unlike the previous endings, the only requirement you will have to meet will be to defeat the first three bosses of the game, which we will leave their name and location below in a list:

  • Have Mercy | Tomb of Mercy.
  • Our Lady of the Blackened Face | Convent of the Blackened Face.
  • Three Sorrows | The Moan Rises.

Ezra and Perpetva

Now instead of heading to the Bridge of the Three Calvaries to face Ezra, we will have to look for a specific room that is located under the Profaned Cistern, where we will find a room called The Sister’s Rest . Upon entering and advancing through it, we will see the statue of Perpetua, Ezra’s sister.

Interacting with it will open the chest at the foot of the statue, giving you the Incomplete Scapular . You can now go to the Bridge of the Three Calvaries to meet Ezra. The only thing is that we won’t have to face him now , since thanks to this item, we will receive the blessing of his sister Perpetua.

Finally, he will ask us to meet him at the chapel where Guilt was born, that is, at the Brotherhood of Silent Lament . Once there, when we talk to him, he will give us the Twisted Wood Grown Key , which opens a secret door in the Library of Denied Words area.

Diosdado

As we have already mentioned, you will have to go to the Library of Negated Words to meet Diosdado, a character to whom you will have to give the key that Esdras gave you previously. The only thing is that in order to give it to him, you will first have to complete a mission that consists of finding a corpse in the area.

Once you have completed it, you will be able to interact with him again to give it to him and see how the secret door appears that leads to the “Three Words Knot” room, where upon entering, you will meet the Fourth Face , who will ask you to find and bring back his two golden eyes so that he can reveal the secret to you .

The Fourth Face

But wasn’t this ending the most difficult of the three? You might ask. Well, I’m sorry to tell you that the time has come, because to get the two golden eyes of the fourth face, you will have to defeat two of the most difficult bosses in the game , Isadora and Sierpes.

  • You’ll find Isadora in the Ossuary room , where we gave the bones to the old man. The only problem is that you’ll have to have collected a little more than half of them for Isidora’s door to open , so we’re leaving you a guide here where we show you the location of all of them.
  • On the other hand, we find Serpents in one of the most complicated areas of Blasphemous, Mourning and Havoc . This boss has three phases, and although they are really very similar, you will spend a lot of time catching its movements and thinking about your strategy to defeat it .
Once you have defeated both bosses, and collected the eyes, you will have to return to the Three Words Knot to return them to the Fourth Face so that he can reward you with the Apodictic Heart of Mea Culpa , which you will have to equip before facing Crisanta .

You will have to have followed the steps of the good ending in order not to sink into the mountain of ash after defeating the final boss, that is, making the waves of enemies by breaking the statues.

Final Phase

Now, after getting the masks we talked about in the guide to the other endings, you will have to face Crisanta, although now, she has two phases , the second one being quite difficult to overcome due to her speed of movement. Like the first phase, the key to this fight is still the parry .

Once you defeat her, you’ll have to continue to the final battle , where once you defeat His Holiness Scribe and the Last Son of Miracle, you’ll have to climb the mountain of ash to face the true final boss . The good thing is that if you die, the fight will start automatically until you manage to defeat him, thus giving way to the cinematic of the true ending.
