How to fix crash and startup issues on Oddworld Soulstorm PC
Oddworld Soulstorm is the third installment in the series and is a sequel to 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty. Aside from the graphics, not much has changed. Like previous Oddworld titles, Oddworld Soulstorm is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer. Abe, the main protagonist, is back and this time his goal is to save his fellow Mudokons from slave labor.
So what’s new in this title? Well, the game features a new crafting system that allows Abe to create and customize different weapons. Despite being mostly linear, Oddworld Souldstorm features a massive train hub where players can access new levels and areas.
Enough introduction about the game, let’s talk about the problems you have. Many players who have purchased Oddworld Storm on PC through the Epic Games Store are facing various errors. The game crashes for some and for some it won’t even launch or launch.

The boot / start error could be caused by some corrupted files in the directory. You can fix it simply by repairing the game through the Epic Games Launcher. Go to your library in EGL and hover your mouse over Oddworld Soulstorm. Click the Settings icon ( … ) next to the Start icon and select the “Verify” option. Please wait until the process is complete. Finish by restarting the launcher.
