When you send your dwellers out to explore the wasteland in Fallout Shelter, they may come with junk items. Most of the time, these are common junk items, without much value on their own, except for scrapping and using in other builds.

But just like dwellers in this Fallout game , there are common, rare, and legendary scraps. And when you get your hands on a legendary scrap item , you shouldn’t sell it!

How to Find Legendary Scrap in Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter has 7 legendary-tier scrap items. This means they are worth 200 caps, but selling them would be a waste (in comparison, rare scrap is worth 50 caps and common scrap is only worth 2 caps).

These scrap items can be found by exploring the wasteland. They can be found by dwellers while exploring, or also during quests or even as quest rewards.

Another way to get them is by opening lunch boxes , but like the legendary dwellers, they are rare. 

Finally, also when scrapping legendary tier weapons and outfits (but this is not recommended either, it is better to keep the legendary items, unless you have duplicates or feel that they are very redundant).
