You can charge the AirPods and AirPods Pro only with the designated charging cases. They start charging as soon as you put them in them. The case has enough capacity to charge the headphones itself several times. You can charge it on the road when you are not using it. And even if the capacity of the battery in the case doesn’t bother you too much, the one in the headphones already does.
TWS or True Wireless Stereo headphones are designed so that they do not really contain a single cable, so the left and right headphones are separated from each other, while both are connected to their own stereo channel, using the Bluetooth function. But this whole technology is relatively young and suffers from one major ailment – the gradual reduction of the headphone battery capacity. This is known for many cases where the first generation of AirPods, after two years of use, do not last half a hour on a full charge.
AirPods battery life
Apple states that the AirPody lasts up to 5 hours of listening to music or up to 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. In combination with the charging case, you get more than 24 hours of listening or more than 18 hours of talk time. In 15 minutes, the headphones in the charging case also charge up to 3 hours of listening and 2 hours of talk time.
If we look at the AirPody Pro, it’s 4.5 hours of listening on a single charge, 5 hours with active noise and bandwidth suppression turned off. You can handle the call for up to 3.5 hours. In combination with the case, it is then 24 hours of listening and 18 hours of talk time. After 5 minutes of presence of the headphones in their charging case, they are charged for an hour of listening or talking. All, of course, under ideal conditions, with the values given for new equipment.
