Installing App on iPhone 6 in iOS 9 (Guide with Pictures)
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.3. These steps will work on other iPhones with the same iOS version. This process is also very similar to other iOS versions.
Step 1. Tap the App Store icon.
Step 2: Tap the Search option at the bottom of the screen.
This assumes that you know the name of the application you want to install. If not, select one of the other options at the bottom of the screen (for example, Top Charts).
Step 3: Enter the name of the app in the search box at the top of the screen, then select a search result.
Step 4. Click the “Get” button (if the application is free) or click the “Price” button (if the application costs money).
Note that you may see an Open button if the app is already installed on your device, or a cloud icon if you installed the app on another device that uses your Apple ID.
Step 5: Click the “Install” button.
Note that at this point you may be asked to enter your iTunes password, depending on how your account is currently set up. The app will start downloading and installing. This may take several minutes, depending on the size of the application and the speed of your network connection.
Step 6: Click the “Open” button to launch the application.

What should I do if my Apple iPhone is running out of space?
Finding, downloading and installing applications on a mobile device is one of the most interesting things you can do with a smartphone. Using the App Store app to find and discover new apps can improve the usefulness of your iPhone, as well as provide you with additional ways to have fun.
But it’s very easy to overdo it when you install apps on your device and you may find yourself running out of storage space.
The easiest way to fix this problem is to uninstall apps that you no longer use. Many applications, especially games, can be hundreds or several gigabytes in size, so uninstalling them is a quick way to get enough space to store your pictures or videos.
Another option to consider is to delete any videos you’ve downloaded from iTunes, Netflix, Prime Video, or other streaming services.
More information on how to download apps on iPhone 6
Once you’ve downloaded the app to your iPhone, it is considered “purchased” through your Apple ID. This even applies to free apps; they just have a zero purchase price.
Since you already purchased this app with your Apple ID, you will be able to download it again in the future if you decide to uninstall or unload it.
In some newer versions of iOS, you no longer need to click the Install button after you choose to get or purchase an app. The app download and install process is combined into one step and will happen after you use Touch ID, Face ID, or your password to confirm the purchase of the app.
You can uninstall or uninstall an app on your iPhone 6 by finding the app on the home screen, then pressing and holding it. Depending on your version of iOS, you will either need to click the small x in the upper left corner of the icon, or you will need to select the “Uninstall App” option.
One last thing to keep in mind is that most applications will need to be updated. You can do this manually if you open the App Store, tap your profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then select Update All or update individual apps.
You can also turn on automatic app updates by going to Settings> App Store and turning on App Updates under Automatic Downloads.
Another way to uninstall a downloaded app is to go to Settings> General> iPhone Storage, then select the app and click the Uninstall App button.
If you follow the route through the iPhone Storage menu, you will also see the Unload App option. This will uninstall the app from the device, but retain all documents and data from that app. This allows you to install the application again in the future and still have access to any files you create.
