The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.3. These steps will work on other iPhones with the same iOS version. This process is also very similar to other iOS versions.
Step 1. Tap the App Store icon.
Step 2: Tap the Search option at the bottom of the screen.
This assumes that you know the name of the application you want to install. If not, select one of the other options at the bottom of the screen (for example, Top Charts).
Step 3: Enter the name of the app in the search box at the top of the screen, then select a search result.
Step 4. Click the “Get” button (if the application is free) or click the “Price” button (if the application costs money).
