How to Dismantle Weapons and Armor In Outriders

As you complete main missions and side missions in Outriders, you will gradually acquire a ton of equipment. These weapons and armor will sometimes replace your existing loadout, while others will be of no use to you as they are underpowered, not the right type of weapon, or simply have bad throws. In these cases, you’ll want to know how to dismount in Outriders , so that you can free up space in your inventory.

Dismantling weapons and armor in the Outriders

To disassemble weapons and armor, simply open the Hero menu by pressing the View button on Xbox One or the trackpad on PS4.

From there you should be on the “Inventory” tab. Now use the left analog stick to select the “slot” the weapon / gear belongs to and press A / X.

Now select the item you want to disassemble with the left analog stick and click the right stick (R3) to select what you no longer need on your Outriders journey.

This should cause a recycling logo to appear on the item image. You can ‘check off’ multiple items like this at once, so go ahead and check off all the items you want to disarm.

Once you’re done, just press and hold Y / Triangle, and all items will be removed from your inventory. The resources you get when you dismantle items can be used in the Outriders crafting / upgrading system.

What do you get for disassembling the equipment?

In return, you will get scrap metal, leather, iron, or titanium, depending on the rarity of the items you dismantled.

In our experience, common and unusual items dropped scrap, rare items dropped leather or iron, and epic and legendary items dropped titanium when dismantled on the Outriders.

That’s all you need to know about how to disassemble weapons and armor in Outriders . For more tips, tricks, and guides, head over to our wiki, search for dlprivateserver, or learn more about the game below.
