How to disable the player switch arrow in FIFA 22 .

As a way to help players, the FIFA series introduced the “player switch arrow” a few years ago. This basically places a small arrow above the head of one of your defenders when you are defending, as a suggestion that you should pass that player. While it can certainly help if you feel overwhelmed during attacks, others may find it an annoying and unnecessary distraction. In this guide, we tell you everything you need to know how to disable the player switch arrow in FIFA 22 .

Turn off the arrow to change players in FIFA 22

To disable the player switch arrow in FIFA 22, go to the main menu and select the ‘Custom’ option.

Then select “Configuration”, then “Driver Configuration”. You will now see the option “Next Player Change Indicator”. This can be found under the “Scheduled Finishing” option in the menu.

Select it and simply change it from “On” to “Off”. You no longer have to worry about that annoying player switch arrow that will put you off in the middle of a game.

If you decide to do that, you are completely missing the player switch arrow and want to get it back. Just go back to the Controller Settings menu in settings and change the “Next Player Switch Indicator” option to “On”.

In the next game you play, you will find that the arrow has reappeared to guide you in your defensive attempts.

  • In the main menu, select the “Customize” window.
  • Go to “Settings”, then select “Driver Settings”.
  • Find the option “Next Player Change Indicator” and change it to “Disabled”

And now you don’t have to worry about the FIFA 22 Player Switch Arrow any longer. For more tips, tricks, and guides, head over to our wiki guide, search for dlprivateserver, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
