How to Disable Screen Lock on iOS
By default, all iPhones lock their screen after 30 seconds of inactivity. You’ll then have to unlock your iPhone using Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode, or by pressing the Power/Home button if you don’t have additional security enabled.
How to disable blocking? You need to do this:
- Go to “Settings”;
- Go to the “Screen and Brightness” section;
- Then you need to select the “Auto-lock” function (below Night Shift);
- Now select “Never”.
That’s it, your iPhone will no longer lock the screen at all. Only if you press the On/Off button or Home. Also in this section you can shorten or extend the time after which the screen locks:
- 30 seconds;
- 1 minute;
- 2 minutes;
- 3 minutes;
- 4 minutes;
- 5 minutes.
An important point: in power saving mode, you cannot disable automatic locking. In it, the iPhone will be locked in any case.
