Deactivate subscription renewal
First of all, the first thing you need to do is turn off the renewal of the subscription , which is feasible on both computer and mobile. Here are all the details.
From computer
Deactivating the Spotify account from a computer is quite simple. You can act directly through the browser , since the operations to be performed must be done on the website of the well-known streaming music platform.
Connect, therefore, to this Internet page , log in with username and password (or via Facebook , Google or Apple account , with the appropriate button), scroll to the bottom of the displayed page and click on the Cancel Premium subscription button , attached to the Spotify Free box .
In conclusion, confirm the operation, by clicking on the Yes, cancel button , indicate a reason why you want to make your choice (eg I did not find the music or podcasts I like ), click on the Continue button and follow the instructions that see on screen to complete the process.
However, keep in mind that, if you have activated Spotify Premium through a telephone operator and make the payment via residual credit or directly on the invoice , the procedure to be carried out for canceling the subscription changes completely: you must cancel the subscription directly from your page staff at your manager’s site.
