In Cyberpunk 2077 there are also several boss fights . It is for this reason that we have decided to write a guide on how to defeat all the bosses you will encounter on your journey. In particular, the boss fights are listed in chronological order. Before starting, we point out that some clashes may not trigger. Everything will depend on the choices you make throughout history. In other words, some boss fights are completely optional and you don’t necessarily have to complete them to continue V.’s adventure.
Premise
Boss fights will generally work the same way: the first phase will be characterized by a melee fight (melee) while the second phase will be characterized by ranged attacks . In both cases, the best solution will be to dodge enemy shots by pressing the circle twice (or B on Xbox). Immediately after the dodge, use your weapon to land a few hits and repeat this strategy all over again. In any case, keep in mind that if you have too many problems with a boss, you can always lower the difficulty of the game .
Main Mission: The Pickup
If during this mission you have made the optional option to speak to Meredith Stout and have accepted the money token, you can give it to the Maelstrom gang. At this point Royce will appear and you will have the opportunity to face him later in the mission. In any case, if you pay the Maelstrom with Flathead you can avoid the fight. Same thing if you go to the gang without having Meredith’s token. In this case you will have access to a dialogue in which you will have to select the following answers: “ Do you really expect me to pay twice? ”>“ Ready to offer us a discount? ”>“ Draw weapon “. By doing this you can kill Royce instantly, avoiding starting the boss fight.
Strategy: If you do not perform the above actions you will be able to access the boss fight with Royce. The enemy will be protected by a shield and will fire rockets. The aim is to attack him to make him drop his shield. Meanwhile, you’ll have to dodge his missiles or hide behind cars and other objects to stay safe. The lower back, indicated by the orange color, is its weak point. Hit him several times to end the fight in no time. In this case, a medium-range rifle could be very useful.
Oswald Forrest (Woodman)
Main Mission: Automatic Love
Oswald Forrest aka “Woodman” is the man you will have to question in the main mission ” Automatic Love “. If you decide not to pay him for the information received and choose the dialogue ” I could kill you with my bare hands “, you will start the fight. If you decide to pay it you can avoid the fight.
Strategy:In the first phase Woodman will try to hit you with melee attacks, while in the second he will use a pistol. If you want to get rid of him in no time, grab the Katana in the area leading to his office. Equip it and hit it. Alternatively, you can fight it with your bare hands. However, it is a more complicated strategy, especially at high difficulty levels. This is because of the massive damage you will suffer from gunshots. With the Katana you will be able to inflict big damage, making things easier.
Main Mission: I Walk the Line On your
way to the mall you will automatically be catapulted into the boss fight against Matilda K. Rose “Sasquatch”.
Strategy: Matilda (Sasquatch) is a powerful female fighter who will only perform melee attacks. It is a very slow boss and therefore easy to dodge. The simplest method is to use firearms and keep your distance as much as possible. Of course, you won’t always be able to stay away from Matilda. In these cases you can only dodge, possibly to the side. On the back the boss will have a weak point, easily recognizable. Therefore try to destroy it as soon as possible, also because the woman will be able to recharge her health. In any case, Matilda’s pattern is quite phoned: after launching a heavy attack, the boss will stand still for a moment, giving you the opportunity to go behind him and hit him. Once you have destroyed the weak point, keep doing the same strategy by dodging and taking headshots. It goes without saying that auto rifles will be the best weapon to use at this stage. In some situations Sasquatch could block you on the ground. In these cases you will have to repeatedly press R2 / RB to free yourself from her.
Main Mission: Never Fade Away
Strategy: While playing a flashback of Johnny Silverhand you will encounter the boss in a room with other enemies. This is a mandatory boss fight that will not pose a real threat. This is because the boss will have a rather short life bar and, in addition to that, you can count on teammates who will help you to take them down. In any case, the best tactic is to eliminate the other enemies and then focus on him at a later time. Throughout the fight Akira will use a rifle but, if you get too close, the same will switch to a melee fight. In reality there are no particular measures, if not to hit him until he kills him.
Main mission: Transmission
After one of the Silverhand flashbacks you will find Placid waiting for you at the Voodo Boys exit.
Strategy: The fight with Placid will also be pretty easy to complete. The boss will use a shotgun, dealing massive damage especially from a short distance. The advice is therefore to stay away from the boss, trying to hit him from a distance. Also in this case there are no particular precautions. You will be able to finish the boss fight without too many problems.
Main mission: Play It Safe
Strategy:Sandayu Oda is the most versatile boss with the most varied attack pattern. It will start attacking you with double blades. First you have to dodge his shots (sideways or backwards) by pressing the O (Playstation), B (Xbox) or Tab (PC) key twice. When you have a free opening, stop and hit him in the head. One tip is to use a revolver or automatic rifle. In this last case, however, you can run out of shots in no time. Heavy shotguns might come in handy too, but they could also take a while to reload. For this reason, the best solution is to equip a revolver, an automatic rifle and a sniper rifle from the start, so as to have enough ammunition and avoid loading multiple times. Also watch out for when the boss will jump into the air and then perform a melee attack.
This is because the attack in question, if not dodged, will cause massive damage. After the first phase, Oda will begin to alternate melee attacks with weapons with homing bullets. It goes without saying that in this second case you will need to repair yourself. It will also start jumping / climbing to higher areas, from where it will fire exclusively homing bullets. In his third phase the boss will start using some sort of stealth cloak that will make him invisible. In this phase, Oda will recharge his health. To find it you will have to explore all the buildings that are nearby and pay attention to the blue outline of its cloak, the only detail that will make it visibile.
Strategy:For this fight it is advisable to equip a revolver, an assault rifle and a sniper rifle (as in the case of the previous boss fight). As usual, Adam Smasher will also use melee attacks. In this phase you will have to shoot his right arm, until he loses it. By doing this, the boss will stop making melee attacks to switch to rockets. It goes without saying that in this second phase you will have to avoid the rockets and then attack it (possibly keeping your distance). Helping him will find some enemies that you can easily kill with 1 or 2 Frag Grenades. After defeating them, return to attack the boss, hitting the rocket launcher placed on his back. In this way Smasher will remain almost defenseless, allowing you to defeat him once and for all.
This, therefore, is the complete guide to defeating all the bosses present in Cyberpunk 2077 . Before concluding we remind you that on Uagna.it you will find the complete guide to the game by CD Projekt RED .
