A multi-boot pendrive

Creating a multiboot or multiboot USB with Linux or Windows operating system has a similar process. Next I will show you how to perform both processes:

Windows systems with SARDU

Before creating a multi-boot or multiboot USB with the Windows 10, 8.1, 8 or even Windows 7 operating system , you will need the ISO file of the operating system. To do this, the first thing you should do is download the “Media Creation” program from the official site.

Start the program and select “Create installation media for another computer”, click “Next” and choose the Windows operating system you need.

As a last step, select ” ISO File “. Now we just have to wait for the file to be downloaded and stored on your PC. Now you must download the SARDU program from its official site, and select the respective program for Windows operating system.

When you start the SARDU application you will be able to see several programs that you can use to install on the Pendrive, in this case you will select the one called “Installer10”.

You must locate and select the ISO file on your computer, according to where it was downloaded (generally in the download folder).

Linux systems with SARDU

In the case of the Linux operating system , it is not necessary that you have downloaded the Ubuntu file, since you can do it from the application itself.

You are going to start the SARDU program, locate the “Ubuntu Dektop” option and select the arrow icon to download it.

Note: In the case of Linux, Kali Linux files (not downloaded by SARDU), select the globe icon to go to the official Linux website for manual download.

When the Ubuntu download is finished, you must go back to the SARDU list, press the red button to search and select the Linux download.

Install on the USB pendrive

To finish, the process of creating a multiboot or multiboot USB, once you have the operating system files, you are going to do the following:

Locate a Pendrive that has enough capacity to save the programs, the Pendrive must have a FAT32 format for SARDU to recognize it. Enter the Pendrive in your computer and if there is an error such as “PC does not recognize my USB pendrive” , solving it is simple. On the right side of the SARDU application, select the option “ Search USB” and select the option for your Pendrive.

Again on the right side you will select ” Create SARDU USB ” to start the installation process and you just have to wait the time stipulated by the application.

Once the installation of the programs on the Pendrive is finished, you can now remove the Pendrive from your computer and perform the test. To do this, you must turn off your computer, insert the Pendrive and when the logo appears press the ” F11 ” button to select the boot mode.

In other computers it may be another key, you must check the boot mode button on the internet. Now you are going to select the Pendrive and press ” Enter “.

And ready. In the next sale you will be able to see the different options available for operating systems. The option of ” Linux Menu “, ” Windows Menu “, among others.
