How to download and install DVDStyler?

  1. Open the browser on your computer, and go to the DVDStyler page .
  2. On the left side, select the “Downloads” option.
  3. Then all the options you have to download the application will be displayed.
  4. Select the DVDStyler versionyou want to install on your computer, depending on the operating system you have installed on your computer.
  5. Once the download is complete, you will need to find the file on your computer.
  6. Then right on the DVDStyler application.
  7. Select the “Run as administrator” option.
  8. Then you will have to follow the steps indicated by the application.
  9. When you have finished the configuration, click finish, and the installation will start.
  10. When the installation is complete, you must double click on the application icon to start using it.

What steps should be followed to create a personalized DVD?

To create a project you must use the tools available in the application , which allow you to carry out a series of actions. If you are new to this application, you are most likely not familiar with this type of editors.

If you want to create your own personalized DVD , you will only have to carry out a series of steps, where we will start by creating a new project. Followed by arranging the videos to then add the root menu, choose the buttons, and lastly you will have to use animated scene selector and burn it to DVD .

Start a new project

  1. Open the DVDStyler application on your computer.
  2. Once logged in a welcome dialog will be displayed, select on “Create a new project”, or you can also click on the button again.
  3. You will then need to enter a disc label.
  4. Select the capacity of the DVD, either 4.7 GB “Single Layer DVD” or 8.5 GB “Double Layer DVD”.
  5. Then you will have to select the video format, to select this option you must take into account your country of residence. Use “NTSC” if you are from a North American countryor Japan, and use “PAL” if you are from a country other than the above.
  6. Once you have completed the configuration, you will need to click “OK”.
  7. Place the title for the DVD menu.
  8. You will then need to select a template.

Organize the videos

  1. Once you have selected a template you must upload the videos to the application.
  2. It is important that when uploading the videos to the application it is in the same order that you want to place them.
  3. To add the videos, click on the “File Explorer” tab, which is located on the left side.
  4. You will then need to drag the movie clips you want, into the “Titleset Manager” at the bottom.
  5. To add videos, click the + iconat the top.

Add root menu

  1. To add a menu, click on the “Backgrounds” tab, which is located on the left side.
  2. Select a DVD background image from the menu by double-clicking on an image in the “Backgrounds” panel.
  3. If you want to select your own background image for the DVD menu, you will need to click on the “File Explorer” tab ofthe open directory that contains the image file.
  4. Then double click to select the image.
  5. To add a menu title, click on ‘Menu Editor’, and select the “Add” option.
  6. Click on “Text” and type the titleyou want to put on the menu.
  7. Then you can change the title font and size, in the text properties dialog.

choose the buttons

  1. To choose the buttons, click on the “Buttons” tab.
  2. Click “Insert a Button”and drag a button into the “Menu Editor”.
  3. You will then need to edit the button’s properties, i.e. the actions, captions, color, and font.

Animated scene selector

  1. To edit the button properties, double-click the button in the “Menu Editor” and then click “change appropriate properties”.
  2. Once you have finished editing the button properties, click “OK” to return to the “Menu Editor”.

burn the dvd

  1. Click the Save button to save the project.
  2. Then click on the record button.
  3. To preview the final output on DVD, select the “preview” box.
  4. Then insert a blank disk into your computer and select a corresponding disk drive.
  5. Click ‘Start’ to start burning your DVD.
  6. Wait as long as necessary for the recording to complete.
