Copying contacts from Gmail to iCloud is easy thanks to macOS integration
On your Mac, open System Preferences and go to the ‘Internet Accounts’ panel . If your Google account is not already added, add it by clicking on the + button and selecting ‘Google’ (you will need to log in with your Gmail account by following the steps on the screen):
Once you have done this, click on the Google account from the left sidebar and check that ‘Contacts’ is activated in the right area:
