Activate parental control Nintendo Switch

The first thing you have to do is download the Nintendo Switch Parental Control application , which is available for both Android and iOS. To find the download links, you can visit THIS WEBSITE where you are linked to both the App Store and Google Play.

Once you open the application, you will go to a first screen in which if you click on Data use, details on how Nintendo manages the data it obtains will be explained to you. To continue, simply click on the Continue button that you have in the lower right corner of the app screen.

You will then go to another screen where you are asked to log in with your Nintendo account. Here, click on the orange button Sign in or create account , and enter the email and password of the same Nintendo account that you use on the Nintendo Switch that you want to manage through parental controls.

The login process will be done through your mobile browser, in a tab that will open the application. Once you write the email and password, you will have to choose the user to link with the parental control. Normally, you have a single user, so you just have to press the red Choose this person button to continue with the process.

You will return to the Nintendo Switch Parental Control app , where after a few seconds of loading it will tell you that you are going to link a Nintendo Switch console to the application. To continue with the process you have to click on the Continue button that appears at the bottom of the screen. When you do, you will see a code that you will have to use on the console , so your next step will be to turn on your Nintendo Switch.

When you turn on the console, go to the bottom menu where various options appear with round icons. There, click on the Console Settings option that appears almost last, next to the off button.

Once in the configuration, in the options column on the left select Parental Control (1) to be shown the related options. In them, now in the center of the screen, click on the Parental control settings option (2) that you have just below the description that appears.

You will go to a screen where you are told to download the application. In it, click on If you have already downloaded the application to access another screen where you must click on the Registration code option . At last you will go to a screen that says Enter the registration code . In it, enter the six-digit code that the mobile application gave you before and click on Ok to confirm.

On the console screen they will tell you that you are about to link the parental control with the Nintendo account you chose on your mobile, and you will be asked if you want to do it. Here you simply click on the Yes button to proceed. After a few seconds of waiting it will have been successfully linked, and in the console you only have to click on Continue with the configuration on a smart device .
