How to complete Speed Machines Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 5
Before actually getting started on the task at hand, it’s time to find out what the given hint means.
Forza Horizon 5 Speed Machines Treasure Hunt Clue
Here is the hint given to players:
“German sport hares are very fast and divide any area into three”
The German part helps slow things down a bit and it should already be clear that you’ll be going out in a fast vehicle. After all, speed is in the name of this treasure hunt.

That hint definitely helps narrow things down a bit, as getting three stars in a speed zone is easy. On the other hand, it’s a bit ambiguous as there are so many fast German cars to choose from. Luckily, you can match the track background image to a vehicle that’s available at the Autoshow to determine it’s the 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI. Better yet, it can even be purchased for 20,000 credits from there if you don’t already have one. .

Now in the GTI, it will be tempting to just go finish the tasks required for the treasure hunt. However, we suggest making some improvements to the vehicle so that it can reach the speeds that it will need for what lies ahead. Any upgrade that gets this GTI going fast enough to rack up three stars in a single speed zone will do.
Once that’s done, it’s time to burn rubber and complete the scavenger hunt by getting three stars in a single Speed Zone. Accumulating stars in multiple zones will not be enough. You need to get max speed for a single zone to be successful here.

All that’s left to do is go through the chest, picking up three series points and 100 Forzathon points in the process.
That’s all there is to know about how to complete Speed Machines Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 5 . If you’re running low on credits and don’t have the GTI that’s needed for this scavenger hunt, we suggest saving up 20,000 before starting Speed Machines.
