So, you’ve just started playing Dragon’s Dogma 2 and after a few hours you realize that you don’t like the way your Arisen looks. Don’t worry, there is a way to change your character’s appearance mid-campaign. Here’s our guide on how to change your character’s appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
How to Change Character and Pawn Appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2
You can change the appearance of your character or main pawn by visiting the cosmetics store in major cities. These vendors have a scissors icon indicating their location on the map.
By default, you can change the following for a fee:
- Hairstyle – 10,000 gold
- Makeup – 10,000 gold
- Marks/tattoos – 10,000 gold
- Change several (hairstyle, makeup and tags) – 25,000 gold
As you can see, the prices are quite high. So at the beginning of the game, you probably shouldn’t do this. However, later, when you have accumulated enough gold, you can make the necessary changes.
How to completely change the appearance of a character or pawn (i.e. body type and dimensions)
If you really want to completely change your appearance, you will need the “Art of Transformation”. This item is sold by Pawn Guild vendors in major cities for 500 Rift Crystals (RC). Rift Crystals can be obtained in the following ways:
- Activating the Forgotten Riftstones for the first time.
- If another player goes on an adventure with your pawn.
- Defeating some night-type ghost enemies such as Phantoms and Liches.
If for some reason you find this difficult, you can purchase the “Art of Transformation” for real money in the digital store of your platform. But this is not recommended, Rift Crystals can be accumulated in the game itself without any problems
Once you have the “Art of Transformation” item, return to the barber shop and select the “Change Appearance” option. You will then be able to choose what makeup your character or main pawn will have. This will allow you to change the body type, size, muscularity, eyes, lips – basically everything like when creating a character at the beginning of the game.
Anyway, this is how you can change the appearance of your character and pawn in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
