Buy all pets in Sims 4 Cottage Living
How to buy a stable or chicken coop
The first step before you can buy pets for your Sims is to buy them a house. You will have to buy a stable if you want cows and llamas, or a chicken coop for the chickens. Just go to the Build / Buy mode like you do to buy anything for your lot and go to the section called ‘Outdoor Activities’.
There you will find a barn and a chicken coop. Note that you can only have one animal per stable, so you will need a pair if you want a cow and llama.
How to buy a chick, chicken or rooster
If your Sim is looking to raise chickens and have fresh eggs from the farm, be sure to place a chicken coop in their flock first. Then click on the chicken coop and select “Buy Chickens” to see your options. You can get different colored chickens as well as chicks and roosters!
How to buy a cow
Make sure to purchase a stable before considering any cows for your Sims. Once you’ve done that, just click on the stable and ‘Buy Cow’ to see the colors you can choose from. There are a few different colors so be sure to pick your favorite cow.
How to buy a llama
Like cows, your Sims will need to have a barn on their land before they can purchase a llama. Once they have done so, you can click on the stable and ‘Buy a llama’ to choose your favorite. Make sure you choose the one that is right for you. After all, these guys are picky eaters, so you’ll want to be their best friend.
