How to break Inazuma electrical barriers in Genshin Impact

As you browse through the latest Genshin Impact 2.0 content, which will take you to the new land of Inazuma, you will come across Electro Barriers (or Thunder Barriers, as the game calls them). These are semi-transparent force fields that you can’t get through and, unfortunately for us, they contain items or mission objectives that we’ll have to interact with. In this guide we will explain how to break Inazuma electrical barriers in Genshin Impact , so you can continue your search.

Breaking electrical barriers at Genshin Impact

To break through an electrical barrier, you will need to use the Electrogranum located nearby. You’ll find these purple plants dotted all over the place, so switch to one and press F (or the on-screen button indicator on consoles).

If you do, a small purple orb will follow. When this has appeared, simply walk towards the electric barrier and you will be able to pass.

Because it does not work?

Some players have reported that the electrical barrier will not let them pass, even after summoning the Electrogranum. If this happens to you, make sure you have upgraded your Electrograna to the Holy Tree in the Grand Sanctuary.

At level 6, your Electrograna will allow you to pass the intermediate thunder barriers, while at level 12, it will allow you to pass the advanced thunder barriers.

We recommend that you upgrade to level 12 as soon as you can, so you don’t have to worry about thunder barriers to continue your adventure through Inazuma.

That’s all you need to know about how to break Inazuma electrical barriers in Genshin Impact . For more tips and tricks, head over to our wiki or check out our latest Genshin guides below.
