A tough fight in the water that has two phases, but also holds a secret.During the first chapter of Black Myth: Wukong , the bosses are no slouch. Yes, you’re just starting out, but the folks at Game Science still want the game to be a challenge. The Nobleman in White makes a statement in this regard, and if you’re having trouble with him, you’re not alone. But with these tips, you can improve your strategy to destroy him.
How to beat the White Noble in Black Myth: Wukong
The first thing you need to know about this noble is that he has two phases, and the second of these begins when you take all the life from the first one. Why am I telling you this? Because it is important that you save your best resources (potions, magic points, spirits) for the second phase of this battle.
On top of that, as my colleague Alberto Lloria mentioned earlier today , it turns out that if you beat him really, really quickly, you can unlock a third phase. It’s not required to win the fight , and it doesn’t have any extra rewards beyond experience, so we’re not going to cover it in this guide. That said, let’s get to the moves:
Phase 1
- Skewered : When the noble jumps, he will try to stab you with his spear. It is an easy attack to dodge to the side due to its straightness. It punishes.
- Circular attack : The boss charges up his attack and hits everyone around him, also pushing out a circular area current. Both his punch and the water will hurt you, but if you dodge the initial hit and stay close, you can punish.
- Combo : Three basic hits with jumps, punishes after the third, although keep in mind that there may be a fourth (very easy to dodge).
Phase 2
Once you take away all the life from phase 1, the second phase will begin:
- Basic Punch : A semi-circular punch that hits towards your right side. Dodge and attack.
- Second spear : without jumping, but swinging his spear around before hitting you, this spear has less range than the previous one, but is faster. You can punish.
- Snake Combo : Two circular attacks, the first at short range, the second exactly the same as the circular attack from the first phase. Dodge both and stay close to him to punish.
- Water Lance – When you hit the water with his lance, he will throw a stream of water at you that you must dodge. If you are close, try to punish him, if not, just dodge.
- Spear Thrower : The Nobleman throws his spear at you and then picks it up, dodge but don’t try to attack if you’re too far away.
