How to automate screen rotation on your iPhone
- Open the Shortcutsapp on your iPhone and go to the Automation tab .
- Tap the blue Create Personal Automationbutton .
- Scroll down and select the Appoption from the list.
- Activate the “Opens” and “Closes” options.
- Here you will have to select the applications of your iPhone where you want the lock of the rotation of your screen to be deactivated. In this case, we have chosen YouTube.
- Once chosen, you will have to define the action to be executed when you open the app. For this, tap on the blue Add actionbutton .
- In the search bar type “orientation” and select the first scriptthat appears. Tap the Next button .
- Turn off the Ask for Confirmationfeature . When asked, tap Don’t ask . In case the Notify when running option is active , turn it off as well.
- Finally, tap on the Okbutton to finish the procedure.
