The Bunker is a passive company in GTA 5. It requires supplies that it processes in the background while the player continues with his/her work. After this, the end product is sold at a profit. However, the bunker also has a research mode where players can unlock new MK II variants and unique liveries of weapons and vehicles. How to assign bunker personnel to research in GTA 5 :

Step 1: Go to the bunker.
Step 2: Use the Disruption Logistics laptop.
Step 3: Select the ‘Manage staff’ option from the list of options that appears.
Step 4: Check the box next to the ‘Assign Staff to research’ option. The ‘Assign staff to both’ option can also be selected, but this is not recommended as it is highly ineffective and only slows down the time it takes to complete an investigation.
Step 5: The Bunker Staff is now assigned to research.
