So you have your first mod on your channel and you might be wondering what tasks they can help with. Obviously they can moderate the chat, but if you’ve come to this article, you’re wondering if they can change your name or game without you having to stop in the middle of a broadcast and do it.
Personally, I’m a huge fan of zombies and will play a lot of high round games. Every time I went through 5+ rounds, I wanted to update this in my title to bring more attention to my stream.

The Twitch moderator cannot edit your captions, but the twitch editor on your channel can. The ability to change your title you can use a tool like Nightbot.
How to make someone edit your stream
If you trust someone enough to add them as an editor to your stream, here’s how you can do it.
Go to the Twitch Creator Dashboard -> Community -> Role Manager.
Select “Add New” and enter the name of the user you want to be an editor on your channel.
Once they are added as an editor, they will now have the ability to change your title or the game you are playing while you are streaming.
Now you won’t have to stop in the middle of the stream to change the title, and you will be able to continue the stream without interruption.
Once again, I just want to warn you that if you add someone to your stream who has a list of editors, they have the ability to delete entries and make changes to your channel. Don’t add anyone you don’t trust to this list.

Nightbot is an extension for your Twitch or Youtube broadcast that gives you additional moderation features to keep your chat clean.
How to install Nightbot on your Twitch stream?
Go to Nightbot.tv and sign in to your Twitch account. Allow Nightbot to access your Twitch account.
The night bot is now installed on your stream. When you install Nightbot, it comes with a lot of default commands that your chat and moderators can use. Nightbot already has a default command to change the name of your stream.
How to use Nightbot to change Twitch names?
To change or view the title of your stream with Nightbot, you can use the !title command
Anyone can use this command on your stream to view the title.
However, if you want to change the title of your broadcast , you or the moderators can edit it using the command + new title.
FOR EXAMPLE
!title Title of the new stream here
This will change the title of your stream to “New stream name goes here”.
How to use Nightbot to change your Twitch game
To change or view the name of your night bot steam, you can use the !game command
Anyone can use this command to see what game you are playing.
However, if you want to change the game, you or your moderators can edit it using the + New Game command.
FOR EXAMPLE
!play Call Of Duty Warzone
This will change your game category on Twitch to Call Of Duty Warzone.
