The already atmospheric Pacific Drive simulator can be improved by adding your favorite music tracks. This is a great way to make the gaming experience more personalized and unique.
Fortunately, the process is officially permitted by the game developers themselves , which allows players to use their own audio files and even stream radio. To begin with, you will need music tracks in compatible formats. Pacific Drive supports formats such as MP3, WAV, and OGG. You can also use playlists in M3U or M3U8 format.
To open the folder with available music through the game settings, select the option of the same name “Open music folder”. Or you can manually go to the folder at: %localappdata%\PenDriverPro\Custom\Radio . This is where you need to place your own audio files. Just drag the desired music tracks into this folder. After that, they should appear directly in the game, and you can launch the selected tracks at any time.
If you want to integrate a radio station into Pacific Drive, you can use links to radio streams. To do this, you will need a media player (for example, VLC), which will allow you to get a direct link to the stream, and then insert it into the game:
- Launch VLC Media Player on your computer.
- Go to the Media menu.
- Select Open Network Stream .
- Paste the radio station URL into the input field.
- Once the radio station starts playing, go to the Tools menu.
- Select Codec Information or press Ctrl and J.
- In the window that appears, find the Location line, which contains a direct link to the stream.
- You can select the text in the Location field and copy it for later use.
