Add text in YouTube video with Youtube Studio
As I told you Youtube Studio is a powerful tool made available directly from Youtube that will allow you to insert text in the youtube video without having to complicate your life with third-party software. You can then use Youtube Studio to perform other operations on the video such as cutting it, adding music or sounds; in short, Youtube Studio is a tool that will allow you to edit a youtube video already uploaded to your channel.
To add text to the YouTube video all you have to do is go to the Youtube home page and log in to the Youtube service by clicking on the sign sign in and then entering your email address and your password associated with the youtube service.
Once logged in you will have to click on the top right on your photo (if you have not uploaded it to the man symbol) and choose YouTube Studio . The Youtube studio window will open where you will have to select the video to which you want to add the text and then click on the Text item .
The text editor will open from which you can choose different text styles that you can use for the YouTube video. Navigate to the part of the video where you want to add text using the timeline bar (the bottom video navigation bar).
When you have found the part of the video where you want to insert the text, select and drag down the style you want to use on the timeline bar (the video navigation bar at the bottom).
At this point the text preview window will open automatically.Here you can insert text in the youtube video as well as change the font, the size of the text and even the color.
Once you have finished writing the text click on the word done to add text in the YouTube video.

If instead of using Youtube editor you prefer a program for PC (or Mac) that allows you to insert text in the Youtube video then know that there are many free programs (but also apps for smartphones) that allow you to add text in the youtube video with a few click.
Personally I am happy with Avidemux because it is an extremely light and easy to use free software. Avidemux is available for Windows, Mac and Linux and you can download it from its official website by clicking on the word download on the left and then clicking on the word FossHub next to the version you want to download. Once downloaded, start the installation file and follow the instructions (it will simply be a matter of accepting the terms of use).
Start the Avidemux program and drag the video to which you want to add text; from the menu bar select the item filters and in the window that appears select subtitles . Click on the add button and enter the text. Once done, save the video.
Avidemux allows you to perform many operations on the video such as adding an image or text or even a subtitle file.
