MeeTime outside of China
To enable MeeTime outside of China on your Huawei or Honor mobile you will have to follow a series of very simple steps, of course you must have a Huawei device compatible with MeeTime, that is, a mobile with EMUI 10.1.
If we access our phone application at the bottom we can see the 3 main icons, the dialer, the calls and the contacts, but we are missing 1, MeeTime. Let’s see how to activate it if we live outside of China.
- The first step will be to open the settings application of our mobile. In the upper search bar we will write “Region” and click on the option that says “Region” .
- Once inside you will see the main language of your device which you can change whenever you want, but we will focus on the lower part where we can see the region in our case we have Spain.
- Now you will have to press and search for China, the next step is to restart the device so that it loads all the configuration of the apps available in China, don’t worry, this step will not delete or change anything on your device.
- Finally, once the device is restarted, we will only have to reopen the phone app on our Huawei or Honor mobile and at the bottom we will be able to see the MeeTime icon.
- Now we will press and activate the service, you will only have to add your phone number and automatically, just like Face Time does, MeeTime will search for your contacts that also have MeeTime activated so that you can call them through said service.
- The last step will be to change the region of our mobile again as we have done with the first step and we select Spain or the country in which we are and we restart the mobile again.
From now on you can enjoy high definition video calls with MeeTime between Huawei or Honor users with EMUI 10.1 or higher.
