Streamers often spend a lot of time looking for ways to make their broadcast more enjoyable for viewers. After all, a fun, engaging stream can keep people hooked and potentially even bring in new people (and maybe even stay!).
Many streamers have started using Streamloots
There are many ways to make your broadcast more interesting. For example, you can try rewarding Channel Points or use some Twitch extensions to add extra features to your stream. Some of the methods you can use to make your stream more enjoyable, like Streamloots, can even make you some money.
Streamloots is a creative and fantastic way to make your streaming experience more fun and challenging. At the same time, this is a great way to monetize your broadcast and earn extra money on the side. Some streamers even manage to earn so much from Streamloots that they earn more from it than from Twitch subscribers.
But what is Streamloots? Should I use it on my stream? This review will tell you what you need to know to help you make your decision.
What is streamloots?
Streamloots is a free service where viewers can buy packs containing three cards each. Each card has a corresponding action or response attached to it. For example, a card might instantly play a sound effect to scare you, tell you to do something in your game, or tell you that you can’t do something in your game. What cards can do is mostly only limited by your creativity. You can use existing maps created by Streamloots or create your own. You can even create separate card collections for the different games you play. The best part is that you can also set your own price on your sets!
Speaking of pricing, Streamloots has a pretty generous revenue sharing setup for content creators using the service.
- Streamers get 80% of package/card sales
- Partners get 80% of package/card sales (and more options compared to a streamer)
- Affiliates receive 90% of package/card sales (and more opportunities compared to affiliate level)
New content creators start at the streamer level and then work their way up to partnerships with Streamloots-focused achievements.
How it works for viewers
Streamloots has a card crafting system
Viewers can buy your packs and cards and either collect them or redeem them during the broadcast. This gives your viewers the opportunity to influence your game or your stream in a fun way. Streamloots also gives your viewers the ability to destroy cards and turn them into resources that they can then use to create cards if they wish (you can turn off the ability to create certain cards if you want them to be available only in paid packs).
How does streamloot work?
Getting started with Streamloots is very easy – all you have to do is go to the site and connect your Twitch account. From there, you can follow the registration process and create your own sets and collections.
If you are going to use Streamloots for maps, click Maps.
By clicking on the cards, Streamloots will take you to a new page that has a variety of pre-existing collections and cards for you to choose from. You can select cards that you can add to your starter collection and later create your own.
Select cards from existing Streamloots collections to build your starter collection.
Once your collection is set up, you can start changing some settings, setting prices, and setting up alerts. You can add new cards to your collections at any time, so you don’t have to strive for perfection right away. Streamloots also allows you to set customizable visual and/or audio alerts when buying packs and redeeming cards.
Viewers can then visit your Streamloots page ( streamloots.com/yourtwitchusername ) to buy sets and redeem them. A good example of a Streamloots page is the page below from Streamloots partner Drede:
Dreede has seven card collections available for purchase by viewers.
It’s worth noting that Streamloots also recently added a new feature: subscriptions . The subscription costs $4.99 per month (80-20 revenue split, 80% goes to the streamer). Currently, the only benefit that a subscription gives your viewers is that they can play 100 visual/audio “reactions” in your stream, as shown below. You can set which reactions you want to allow.
Viewers who follow you through Streamloots can reproduce these reactions on screen.
When it comes to payment, you can set up your payment method and get paid there once you reach the €20 minimum. You can also choose your billing cycle – payments can be once a month on day 1, once a month on day 15, or twice a month on day 1 and 15.

Minuses

Should you buy Streamloots?
There are many free ways to do what Streamloots can do without having to pay your viewers with real money, such as redeeming channel points. You can also set up things like Lioranboard, Twitch extensions, or your own currency system using various Twitch chatbots. However, Streamloots offers an advantage that these methods don’t: it’s really easy to set up. If you don’t want to spend too much time setting up other methods, Streamloots can be very helpful.
In addition, Streamloots’ excellent income sharing offers can help you generate additional income from your stream, and are also great for content creators on other platforms. You set the price for your sets (although Streamloots offers guidelines on how much you should price them based on the size of your stream) so you can decide how much or how little your viewers will pay. Streamloots even has a “subscriber packs” feature where you can reward your Twitch subscribers with free Streamloots packs on a monthly basis.
We would definitely say that Streamloots is worth it, especially if you want to get more creative – this way viewers get a unique experience when they are on your stream!
Should I add Streamloots to my stream?
To be honest, we don’t understand why not. Streamloots is a great way to monetize and make your stream more fun and engaging for everyone. However, we have a few tips:
- If someone plays a card (like telling you what to do in the game), respect it and don’t try to get around it. This will prevent your viewers from feeling slighted or even deceived.
- Be careful about adding cards that trolls can easily use, such as cards with text-to-speech or cards with text on the screen.
- Do not consistently overcharge or oversell your Streamloots sets as this can alienate your viewers and damage your channel growth.
- Price your kits fairly or at a better price so you can sell more kits in the long run.
And of course, have fun!
Summarizing
Streamloots is a free service that you can use to increase the engagement of your stream and keep people coming back for more. It’s not perfect, but it can certainly be quite fun and a great way to top up your paycheck from time to time. If you’re still in doubt, you can give it a try – after all, it’s free to get started!
