House of Shackles in HSR: all chests, hexanexuses, roboptaches and pig

All chests in the House of Shackles

In total, the House of Shackles contains 22 regular chests, 2 luxury chests, and 13 valuable chests, which are given as a reward for solving cube puzzles and repairing robots.

For the convenience of all delivery robots and the riddles of “Hexanexus: Remake” we have moved them to separate sections of the article. Further instructions are designed for finding chests and other items after completing the story content of patch 2.4.

In this guide, we’ll start collecting chests from the first floor of the House of Shackles and gradually move deeper into the prison.

1st floor in the House of Shackles – 5 chests

Regular Chest #1

Use the Gate of Evil’s Pacification fast travel point on the first floor of the House of Shackles and run forward from there. Once through the large gate, turn right and then go up the two sets of stairs.

After this, turn right again and take the far passage on the left side to reach the first regular chest in this location.

Regular Chest #2

Now go back to the stairs and use the green teleporter located at the end of the passage opposite it – this will take you to the central platform.  A regular chest will be on the right, under the large screen.

Note : This is also where you can start the hidden quest to find the fugitives, which will help you get the “Three Fugitives Out of Five” achievement  in XSR .

Regular Chest #3

Now use the second green teleporter on the central platform, and then look towards the stairs in front of you – to the right of the steps you will see the third regular chest.

Regular Chest #4

Use the “Scriptorium: Before Passage” spatial anchor and after the transition, look ahead to see the fourth regular chest near the large column

Regular Chest #5

Return to the “Scriptorium: Before the Passage” fast travel point and go down the stairs next to it. Walk forward, then go down again and run forward until you reach the end. Turn left and grab the regular chest next to the platform in the center.

-1st floor in the house of shackles – 5 chests

Regular Chest #6

To go down to the -1 floor of the House of Shackles, use the green teleporter near the spatial anchor “Scriptorium: Before the Passage”. After the transition, go down the stairs and take the regular chest, which will be right in front of you.

Regular Chest #7

Head south from the previous chest and go under the large iron grate. After that, turn left and grab another regular chest with Star Jade.

Regular Chest #8

Use the Ice Prison I fast travel point on the -1 floor, then run north and go up the stairs. Another regular chest will be on the railing to your right. You can also pick up a note nearby that will help you get the False Pathfinder achievement.

Regular Chest #9

Return to the Ice Prison I dimensional anchor and run south from there. Cross the bridge and then keep left to find a regular chest in a narrow passage behind some containers.

Regular Chest #10

Return to the bridge and press the button to rotate the platform and reach the regular chest on the other side. You can also check out the shop nearby, which sells local mystery medicines.

-2nd floor in the house of shackles – 4 chests

Use the elevator or the green teleporter on floor -1 to go to floor -2. The intermediate prison consists of two circular turning platforms located on top of each other.

By changing their position, you will gain access to several chests at once. To make it easier to control them, use the robotic plank at the elevator on the upper platform. The bird can not only press buttons, but also collect chests.

Regular Chests #11-13

To collect the three regular chests, the lower platform must be in a position where the stairs lead to the elevator. You can use the bird to quickly fly around the two niches with chests.

The first alcove is just below where you activate the messenger robobob, and the second is just below the green teleporter from the upper platform (see screenshots 1-2 below).

The third chest is on a ledge directly above where the messenger robobob sits.

Luxury Chest #1

There is also a hidden luxury chest on this floor. To find it, the lower platform must be turned so that there is nothing leading to the elevator. Move the upper platform so that you can go down the stairs to the left from it.

This position will help you reach the niche with vases, inside of which there is a luxurious chest. We first flew there as a bird and received the achievement “Secret Corner” for this.

-3rd floor in the house of shackles – 7 chests

Regular Chest #14

Go down to the Scorching Prison on the -3rd floor and go around the elevator shaft on the other side to find another regular chest there.

Regular Chest #15

From the elevator, run forward to the suspension bridge and use the button to change its position and climb to the platform above. After that, a regular chest will be right in front of you.

Luxury Chest #2

Use the “Scorching Prison” fast travel point on the -3 floor, then press the button next to the swing bridge to make your way to the luxurious chest guarded by elite enemies. We recommend bringing characters with imaginary, wind, or electric damage to your party.

Regular Chest #16

Return to the “Scorching Prison” dimensional anchor and press the button again to return the bridge to its original position. Walk across it and grab the next regular chest at the far end of the platform in front of you.

Regular Chest #17

Use the green teleporter on the platform with the previous chest and after moving, look straight ahead: you will see a regular chest hidden behind a stone.

Regular Chest #18

From the previous chest, run forward and go up the drawbridge. After that, you will see a regular chest on your right, at the bottom of the stairs leading to the green teleporter.

Regular Chest #19

From the previous chest, turn around and press the button to move the bridge to the other position and climb up to the platform above. After that, run left and deal with the two enemies in ambush to get to the next regular chest.

4th floor in the house of shackles – 3 chests

Regular Chest #20

Use the “Key of Judgment” fast travel point on the -4th floor and run counter-clockwise from the spatial anchor to grab another regular chest.

Regular Chest #21

Awaken the messenger robobob at the southern end of the platform and ride it to the maximum height available to collect the regular chest hidden at the top of the column (see screenshot 2).

Regular Chest #22

Go down the stairs near the robobird to the very bottom level, to the Eternal Prison. There you will find the last regular chest in this location.

Hexanexus: Remake in House of Shackles (Patch 2.4)

Hexanexus: Remake is a new type of puzzle introduced in the House of Shackles in patch 2.4. To solve the puzzle, you need to arrange the cubes in such a way that the projection of the resulting figure matches the images on the plates on the sides.

Please note : After collecting the first six Hexanexuses, you will unlock an additional quest and be able to complete updated puzzles. In a separate guide, we have collected all Hexanexuses: Remake .

Hexanexus: Remake #1 (1st floor)

To find the first puzzle, use the “Scriptorium: Before Passage” fast travel point and run east from there. Climb the stairs and then look to the left to see a Hexanexus.

Arrange the cubes so that they match the images on the side plates. To do this, they need to be placed along any diagonal. As a reward for solving this riddle, you will receive a valuable chest.

Hexanexus: Remake #2 (1st floor)

Use the Scriptorium: Before Passage spatial anchor again, then run forward and to the right to find the next Hexanexus: Remake puzzle.

To solve this puzzle, you need to place two cubes on top of each other in the lower corner of the figure. Don’t forget to grab the valuable chest that will appear after assembling the hexanexus.

Hexanexus: Remake #3 (-1 floor)

Use the Ice Prison I fast travel point on the -1 floor, then run north to the next Hexanexus: Remake puzzle.

To solve this riddle, you must place two cubes on top of each other in the center and in the top corner. As a reward for completing the challenge, you will receive another valuable chest.

Hexanexus: Remake #4 (-3 floor)

Go down to the Scorching Prison on the -3rd floor. From the elevator, run forward to the suspension bridge and use the button to change its position and climb to the platform above. After that, turn right and the Hexanexus will be right in front of you.

To solve this puzzle you must arrange the four available cubes as shown in the screenshot below.

Hexanexus: Remake #5 (-3 floor)

Use the “Scorching Prison” fast travel point on the -3 floor, then press the button next to the swing bridge to pave the way to another Hexanexus puzzle.

To solve this puzzle and get another valuable chest as a reward, you need to assemble a figure from cubes that looks like the letter T.

Hexanexus: Remake #6 (-3 floor)

Return to the “Hot Prison” dimensional anchor and press the button again to return the swing bridge to its original position. After that, use the green teleporter on the next platform and run forward until you cross the suspension bridge.

Then turn around and press the button to move the suspension bridge to another position and climb up to the platform above. There, run right to find another Hexanexus: Remake challenge.

To solve this puzzle, arrange the three cubes as shown in the screenshot below.

Roboptaha delivery men in the House of Shackles

Delivery Robobirds are small challenges where you first have to repair a bird and then follow it until it leads you to a valuable chest.

Use the “Scriptorium: Before Passage” fast travel point and go down the stairs next to it. Go forward, then go down again and immediately turn left to reach the broken bird.

To fix the delivery robopter, you need to move the computing modules to the positions shown in the image. To do this, select the hexagons marked below and rotate them a certain number of times:

• 2 turn left 2 times;
• 1 turn left 1 time.

After that, follow the delivery bot to pick up the valuable chest at the location shown in the second screenshot in the gallery below.

Piggy Bank of Space in the House of Shackles

You’ll find the Space Piggy Bank on the very bottom floor of the House of Shackles, in the Eternal Prison. Use the “Sentence Key” fast travel point on the -4th floor, then head down the long circular staircase to get there.
