Hogwarts Legacy has a lot of hidden collectibles that you can find while exploring the castle and the surrounding area of ​​Hogwarts. One of these items is the pages of the wizarding manual that Professor Weasley hands you upon your arrival at the castle. These pages will allow you to accumulate valuable experience points and gain equally useful knowledge about the game world, characters, and so on. In this guide, we will tell you where to find all 150 pages of the manual inside Hogwarts Castle.

How to assemble the Hogwarts Castle Guide pages

The first thing to note is that there are several ways to get manual pages:

Before you start collecting the pages of the guide, please note the following… Below, we have divided these pages based on their location in each of the main sectors of the castle. However, this distribution is hardly ideal, because some pages cannot be collected until a certain stage of the game. Other pages may be near the Volatile Flame you are traveling to, but they are part of a different wing.

Astronomical Wing

Spell Class

Floating Page in Classroom. Enter the Spell Classroom and go up the steps. Continue up, opening the doors. The page is in a small room on the roof.

Professor Fig’s Class

Use Confringo on the gargoyle and Accio to pull the page in.

Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower

Mirror with a moth – opposite you after moving to the flying flame. Go down the stairs and check the bird skeleton on the display case.

Defense Against the Dark Arts Class

In front of the raised steps at the back of the classroom. In front of the stained glass window next to the rhinoceros skeleton.

Astronomical Tower

Moth Mirror – Next to the telescopes and the board. From the flying flame, go down the stairs and use Revelio on the green painting of the trolls. Continue down another flight of stairs until you see a statue holding a globe. Use Levioso to make the statue disappear and a page appear in its place.

The Court of Transfiguration

In front of the wyvern statue in the middle of the courtyard. Received automatically when you learn the Reparo spell. Another page is in the neighboring building, picked up by the quest. Use Levioso on another statue with a globe next to the one you used Reparo on. Enter the small door next to the flying flame and examine the painting on the right.

The mirror with the moth is in a small, stinking corridor filled with green gas. In the same gas-filled corridor where the mirror with the moth is.

Transfiguration Class/History of Magic Class

In front of the desk in this classroom. Mirror with a moth – turn around and go through the large wooden door. The mirror with the moth is on the stairs. Behind the stairs with the mirror is the History of Magic classroom (you will visit this class much later, and the professor is a ghost). Take the page located on the right side.

Solve the puzzle with the door that the plank floor leads to to enter another classroom. Here you will find three pages, as well as a wall that leads to a puzzle room for Depulso (which we will not discuss in this guide):

This time, go up the stairs past the mirror with the moth. At the very top, hack the door and Levioso the statue. Go back outside to the fast travel point, turn around and open the small wooden door (next to the big one mentioned above). Go up the steps and Levioso the statue.

Secret Rooms: Cartography Hall

Go up the stairs to reach the Hogwarts basement. You will see a floating page that can be attracted with Accio. Open the locked metal door in the basement and interact with the frog statue. Levioso the wizard statue to make the page appear.

Go past the basement and open the door with a lot of pots (level 3 lock). The page will be in front of you. In the same room, use Confringo on the gargoyle on the ceiling and pull the page with Accio. There is another room in front of the dragon statue. Search here for the page with Revelio.

Just in front of the dragon statue (Revelio). From the dragon statue, go up the steps to find a cabinet for a tricky key (there is a faculty token inside). From the locked cabinet, go through a secret door with a K on the tapestry. The page is in front of the left tapestry.

Bell Tower Wing Manual Pages

Bell Tower Courtyard (Main Hall)

There are eight pages in this room alone. You’ll find six of them with Revelio. Then there’s a page above the marble steps (requires Accio) and a brazier that needs to be lit with Confringo.

Bell Tower Courtyard (Music Room)

Go up the steps from the previous room and check the podium in the music room.

Hogwarts North Exit (Entrance Gate)

Mirror with a moth – in the barn next to the flying flame. Open the barn to the left of the flying flame. Brazier on the wall; above the barn with the mirror. Inside the upper left rampart. Use Levioso on the statue.

Hogwarts North Exit (Quidditch Pitch)

Continue along the ramparts to the west. You should see an astronomy table and be fairly close to the Quidditch pitch. Enter the small room and take the page from the small cage. Outside, look for a broken section of rampart overlooking the Quidditch pitch.

North exit of Hogwarts (outside the greenhouses)

Inside the rampart room, along the far right wall. Flies above the courtyard, outside the greenhouses. Just behind the flying page, in front of some beehives.

Class of study of creatures

Flies over the hut (requires Accio).

Beast Study Class (Owlery)

In the owlery, a tower on the hill behind the beast study building, there are three pages at once: in the main room with all the owls, flying above the tower, and a statue that needs to be activated with Levioso (at the top of the tower).

Library extension

Central hall

There are seven manual pages in this large area, plus another one behind the stairs at the top: next to the statue in the central hall; a mirror with a moth (side quest); next to the central fountain, flying to the left of the fountain; another one flying to the right of the fountain; in front of the fat man statue near the door leading to the Transfiguration Courtyard; inside the locked room (level 1) near the passage to the greenhouses, use Levioso on the statue; use Confringo on the brazier on the landing to the left of the passage to the greenhouses.

From the last page, go up the stairs by the flying flame, then turn right. The page is in front of the portraits, use Revelio.

Greenhouses

Next to the large tree when moving towards the flying flame. In front of the tree in one of the smaller rooms on the right side.

Potion making class

Next to Professor Sharp’s desk. Moth Mirror – Follow the spiral staircase down the corridor decorated with paintings. Go past the moth mirror. To your left is a door with magical creatures. Solve the puzzle and look for the page in front of the painting.

Library

On the second floor next to the painting. Mirror with a moth – on the second floor behind the bookcases. Flies under the ceiling (requires Accio). Go down to the Forbidden Section (unlocked by the game’s plot). This page is in front of the table. Continue through the Forbidden Section. Use Levioso on the statue.

Tower of Prophecy

Climb the stairs to reach the Divination Classroom. Floating next to the wooden scaffolding near the flying flame. Halfway up the wooden planks, look to the right to see a door with magical creatures. Open the door by solving the puzzle. The hallway leads to a new classroom that has a page, as well as two additional puzzle doors with magical creatures.

Big hall

Big hall

Directly in front of you when you move to the flying flame. In front of the lectern with the owl, where the teachers usually are. Face the tables, go to the far right corner, where you will find a cabinet for a tricky key. Go past it, go up and use Confringo on the brazier.

Great Hall (Garden)

Exit the hall using the large double doors on the right. You will see a garden in front of you. You can also use the Hogwarts stairs and move to the floating flame in the cobbled courtyard. Look for pages near the statue: above the gazebo on the left, it flies, requires Accio; behind the arch, use Levioso on the statue with the globe; use Accio to catch the second floating page nearby; on the right side, find and light the brazier.

Great Hall (entrance hall)

Turn around and exit the Great Hall to find some pages. Mirror with a Moth – Right after exiting the Great Hall, you will see a mirror on the wall on the left side. Another page is next to this mirror.

Go past the mirror to reach the area leading to the grand staircase of Hogwarts. Look to the right and you will see an hourglass for each house. From the hourglass, go through the double doors to reach the hallway. There are three pages of the manual here: in front of the Hogwarts crest; use Levioso on the statue by the steps; flies above you.

The courtyard of the viaduct

There are two pages of the manual on the terrace: the mirror with the moth on the outer part of the area overlooking the lake and the statue on the far left of the terrace. Use the elevator to go down to the underground harbor. The page is on the boat. You will receive it from one of the side quests for learning a new spell from Professor Weasley.

Boat shed

Next to the longboat at the back of the boathouse. Use Confringo on the gargoyle inside the boathouse.

South Wing

The inner courtyard of the clock tower

There are several manual pages in this area. There is also a clock tower puzzle: you can stop the giant pendulum with Glacius when it passes near four symbols. This allows you to access four separate rooms with loot.

As for the pages themselves: a mirror with a moth next to a floating flame; when you spawn, you’ll see a door to your right with a level 1 lock. In front of the well in the courtyard. Use Levioso on the statue. Cast Accio to pull another page hovering above you.

Clock Tower Courtyard (Argyllshire)

Turn around near the flying flame and go through the door, go to the opposite wing: mirror with a moth (you will see a map of a place called Argyllshire, there is a button on it that you need to press with the Depulso spell). In front of the Argyllshire map. In front of the statue, down the stairs. Use Confringo on the brazier near the statue. From the brazier, go to the corridor with restrooms. There is another page in front of the men’s room.

Teachers’ Tower (Outer Hall / Gryffindor Common Room)

Turn around after moving to the floating flame and use Revelio on the witch statue on the left side. This is a shortcut to Hogsmeade’s Honeydukes. Go forward from the floating flame and notice the picture of a bull on the right. From the picture of the bull, go up the spiral staircase. Use Revelio in front of the portrait of the fat lady.

Teachers’ Tower

There are four pages in the first main area (which also contains the Symbol Door Puzzle): facing the puzzle door, open the door on the right and check the smaller room to the side; go up the steps again and Accio the page floating above you; look at the door with the pots, there will be a page in front of it; open the door with the pots and loot the legendary chest, then use Glacius on the fireplace to put it out, go into the next room and use Confringo on the brazier.

Continue up the spiral staircase to the top floor to get more pages: Use Revelio on the statue on the right; use Levioso on the statue on the left; check the mermaid mural in front of the prefects’ bathroom.

Hospital wing

In front of the unicorn statue next to the flying flame. Another page flies around the infirmary.

Clock Tower Top / Hospital Wing

Continue up the stairs, opening doors with Alohomora to reach the top of the clock tower. Alternatively, you can use the chimney in the hospital wing and head to the area with the giant gears: in front of the gear mechanism; use Confringo on the torch.

Hogwarts Stairs: Slytherin Dungeon and Hufflepuff Kitchens

Bottom of the Stairs / Slytherin Dungeon

From the flying flame, go left and examine the kelpie statue. Mirror with a moth – go right and follow the corridor until you see the armor. The mirror will be on the right side. To the left of the mirror is the girls’ toilet. Use Revelio to see a reference to the Secret Chamber.

Follow the winding hallway until you find several locked doors. There’s a page behind the back door, as well as a chest containing an eye. There’s a brazier in the cage on the left (use Confringo). Open another metal door, leading to a Death Day party room. Find several pages here: one is in front of the benches; another is at the opposite end in front of the tapestry; and a third is floating above you.

In the Shadow of the Cabinet / Crucio Spell Quest

There is a main quest where you can learn Crucio. It will take you deep into the Slytherin crypt. Look in this room for another page.

Grand Staircase / Hufflepuff Kitchens

From the Volatile Flame, head down the spiral staircase. There are five guide pages in this area: halfway down the stairs you’ll see a fruit basket, use Revelio to make it appear; in front of the kitchen entrance where you get the “Tickle the Pear” prompt; at the end of the hallway in front of a small stack of barrels; in front of the Hufflepuff common room entrance; in the kitchen between the long tables; at the back of the kitchen in front of a stack of large barrels.

Grand Staircase, Trophy Room, Director’s Office

Grand Staircase / Main Area

Let’s call this section the main area of ​​the Grand Staircase: go forward from the floating flame and check the lion statue; there is also a floating page that needs to be pulled in with Accio; go up the steps and use Levioso on the wizard statue; from the wizard statue, continue up until you reach the area with the image of a cat, use Revelio. Finally, at the very top, there is a brazier hanging on the wall (near the floating flame of the Grand Staircase). Use Confringo and pull in the page with Accio.

Ravenclaw Tower

Moth Mirror – From the Volatile Flame, head down the marble stairs to find the mirror. From the Volatile Flame, head up the marble spiral staircase and look for a small bust on the right side. Continue up the spiral staircase until you reach the eagle statue that leads to the Ravenclaw common room. The page is in front of the eagle.

Hall of trophies

The trophy room contains five pages of the manual: Troll armor; knight in a large display case; house elf armor; trophy cabinet: box with the Goblet of Fire.

Trophy Room (Director’s Office)

Here you will find several pages. However, note that the path to this wing will be closed until you complete the story quest “The Trial of Niov Fitzgerald”. Here is the location of the pages mirror with a moth on the wall next to the phoenix gargoyle; in front of the phoenix gargoyle.

After completing the quest “The Trial of Niov Fitzgerald”, you will gain access to the Headmaster’s Office, which contains the following pages of the manual: one page is in front of the armor; the other is located on the table where the Sorting Hat is displayed.

In the principal’s office, open the door leading to the outside staircase. Go up and enter another principal’s office. Take the access key from the desk. Go back down to the section opposite the phoenix gargoyle to see a strange door with several locks. Use the access key and take the page from the small room.
