Items

Haze should pay attention not only to items from the Weapons category: the Spiritualism tab will also be very useful. The shroud increases its ammunition precisely from the Spiritualism indicator. The Vitality section of the store should not be skipped either, since the character has the lowest health indicator among the heroes.

Early game

  • Ammo Scavenger;
  • Basic Magazine;
  • Rapid Rounds;
  • Extra Regen;
  • Extra Stamina.

If you are on a solo lane, you should take care of purchasing Spirit Strike. This item will be very useful in melee exchanges.

If you are playing in a duo, feel free to take Extra Spirit for extra HP, its regeneration and an increase in the magazine of ammo. Then you can take Ammo Scavenger and Basic Magazine so that you have even more ammo in the early game. After that, it is worth increasing the rate of fire, Rapid Rounds will help us with this. If you are heavily penetrated in the lane, it is worth taking Extra Health.

Mid game

  • Swift Striker;
  • Active Reload;
  • Kinetic Dash;
  • Bullet Resist Shredder;
  • Bullet Lifesteal;
  • Quicksilver Reload;
  • Running shoes/Sprint Boots.

If you had a successful start and managed to farm a lot of souls, take Swift Striker. This is a great item that gives ammo and rate of fire. If you are constantly pressing and exchanging fire with the enemy, take Active Reload. It will allow you to quickly reload if you hit the green field on the screen. If you want to reduce stamina costs, take Kinetic Dash, you will jump and dash more often.

In the game, it is worth increasing your mobility to move between lanes, Sprint Boots and Extra Stamina will help us with this. Since this is already the middle of the game, you will often fight with several opponents, so we take Bullet Lifesteal for vampirism.

The last item you need in the mid-game is Quicksilver Reload. Use it on the first skill to reload the clip when used. This way you will have at least 3 full clips, survivability and mobility.

Late game

  • Ricochet;
  • Escalating Resilience;
  • Lucky Shot;
  • Superior Stamina;
  • Bloodsucker/Leech;
  • Enduring Speed;

Ricochet is a top-price item, as it will allow you to quickly kill creep packs. In addition, it is “positively bugged” on Haze, as the bounces work in the ult. This is very useful during a teamfight.

Closer to mid or late game, it is worth increasing your damage, Bullet Resist Shredder will help us with this. Sprint Boots with an upgrade to Enduring Speed - they will increase your movement speed. And you definitely need to take Leech, increasing your lifesteal.

The only downside to this build is that you are dependent on the ult. To use the super ability without any problems and remain unharmed, take Unstoppable. If you want to solo kill an enemy, take Silencer, use it on the enemy and ult.

Additional items

  • Disembodiment/Ethereal Shift;
  • Crippling Headshot;
  • Curse;
  • Improved Spirit;
  • Boundless Spirit;
  • Mystic Reverb;

If you’ve been dragging it out and farming well, Haze becomes almost unstoppable. But you most likely have some free universal slots, so fill them. For example, Vampiric Burst will add more vampirism and you’ll definitely survive using the ult.

Shadow Weave can be useful if you prefer a stealthy playstyle. The ambush effect when exiting stealth will also give you a bonus to Spiritualism.

Improved Spirit, Improved Reach and Superior Stamina are upgrades to items you picked up earlier. If you have extra souls, upgrade your items. Finally, Inhibitor is a useful item if you play against heroes with increased mobility.

How to counter

Heroes

Bebop – can pull the Shroud to himself with the Hook (3rd skill), thereby initiating a fight on you. If you have allies, you will not be able to avoid lethal damage, without items for survival.

Watcher  – can inflict numbness with Binding Word (3rd skill) if you fail to run out of range. This will cause the character to be immobilized and become an easy target.

Phantom  – in combination with Telekinesis (ult) and activated Superfast Shooting (3rd skill) you will be defenseless and receive a huge amount of damage in a short period of time.

Vinidicta is the most difficult opponent, as with the help of Flight (2nd skill) she can quickly break the distance or go beyond the radius of the ultimate. Stake (1st skill) can tie you to a point and make you an easy target.

Items

  • Warp Stone– Teleports you forward and gives resistance to bullets;
  • Return Fire– Automatically fires at an enemy who has damaged you with a skill or shooting;
  • Metal Skin– You become immune to weapon attacks and melee combat;
  • Curse– interrupts the enemy’s skill cast, prevents them from using items, and applies silence and disarm debuffs;
  • Unstoppable– Removes all existing negative effects and grants immunity to all debuffs (sleep, stun, silence, numbness, and disarm).

Gameplay

Haze is very mobile, so you need to play aggressively, at least in the first 15-20 minutes. But do not forget about farming and denying enemy souls.

The laning stage is a critical stage for Haze. In the first 10 minutes, you need to collect all the items listed above for this period. After acquiring them, you should move between lanes. Farm everything: allied lanes, forest creeps, soul boxes and enemies, save up for Ricochet. Before getting it, you need to play carefully and try not to attract the attention of the enemy team.

Once you get the main items, play more aggressively. But remember that there are skills and items in the game that can interrupt the cast of your ult. It is worth taking care of this and saving up souls for Unstoppable and then everything will become easier. Before using this item, wait for the opponents to use their control skills, then use the ult.

Remember about important objects on the map, such as towers, walkers, and the mid boss. Haze can destroy these objects single-handedly with his damage. Try to take the Urn of Souls, using your second skill before that. This way, you can quickly and stealthily deliver it to the opposite side of the map and bring additional souls to the team.

Remember that your ult is not only an attack, but also a save. It gives you evasion and lifesteal if you have the appropriate items. So use it wisely to get the most benefit. There are few heroes in the game that can deal a lot of damage and Haze is one of them.

She is a simple hero, but you will need to adapt to her aggressive playstyle. With her ability to become invisible, she can get in the middle of the enemy team during team fights and deal massive damage to all opponents.
