Genshin Impact: How to get the Oceanid Animal

Update 1.4 brought the Windblume festival to Genshin Impact, but there is still more to look forward to. The second half of the update features the Wishful Drops event, which brings you even more rewards, as well as an adorable Oceanid animal that will follow you on your journey through Teyvat. Here’s how to get the Oceanid animal in Genshin Impact .

Get the ocean animal in Genshin Impact

The Wishful Drops event will run from April 8 at 11 am server time to April 16 at 3:59 am server time. This means you have approximately five days to complete the event and secure the animal.

During this time, you will have access to a new key item called the Inquisitive Endora. Stock it up from your inventory, then start heading to the marked locations on your map to explore and capture Oceanid creatures. Each creature you capture will help fill a progress bar, allowing your Oceanid pet to grow slowly.

Whenever you help Endora grow, you can claim rewards in the Event Dashboard, including Primogems and Mora. If you can help him fully develop by marking each objective on the event panel and exploring each marked area, then you can keep the Oceanid animal for yourself.

Like the mini Seelie from the previous event, Endora will simply follow you and will serve no other purpose than to be cute and cosmetic.

After maximizing Endora’s growth, you can also face a new boss challenge against Oceanid himself. This fight brings more rewards, but it also comes with new attacks, so if you are going through a difficult time, you can also try the challenge in co-op mode.
