First, a new area will be introduced on Fortnite: we are talking about Starry Suburbs , which will not replace Pleasant Park, but will bring a destroyed suburb to the north. The peculiarity of this place is that there are shooting stars that drop a lot of loot from the sky, which you can collect when you pass it. In all likelihood there will be an exclusive weapon in this area.
The Zone Wars Timed Mode (single player, no regeneration) will also be introduced: it allows us to simulate the final phase of a Royal Battle, with a small moving area however. There are 4 versions of Zone Wars:
- Zone Wars: Colosseum – an open island that requires rapid construction
- Zone Wars: Desert – there will be many weapons and will require great movement
- Zone Wars: Along the River – descend along the river with a series of launching platforms and a perfectly smooth storm path
- Zone Wars: Vortex – based on mountainous terrain, with very clear altitude changes from area to area
Combine Mode arrives in the new Fortnite update
The new major addition of Fortnite Update 10.40 is Combine Mode . “Test your skills and muscle memory! With this new playlist the goal is to reach the end as fast as possible by eliminating all the targets along the way. Compete against friends or other players for the best time on the leaderboard.
