Fortnite’s new 13.40 update has opened up many locations that could not be accessed previously and contain hidden secrets like the Fortnite spaceship which we will talk about.
These new areas include “Coral Castle” and Craggy Cliffs. There is a spaceship broken by the latter that you can repair to help the astronaut inside.
How to find and repair the spaceship in Fortnite
The spaceship is located on a small island near the rocky cliffs. You will know where to find it quite easily once you get there because a pop-up text will inform you that you have “Found Ancient Ship”.
One of the ship’s boosters is in the water in this area.
Repairing the spaceship in Fortnite
After arriving on the island, you will need to find the 3 missing parts. The first part is the battery pack.
Head to the rock near the ship wreck and break it to access the shallow water. You will find the submerged piece and can return it to the ship.
The head shield is the second part you need to find. You have to swim through the water and then go left after reaching the shore. The part is on some rocks.
The last missing component is a Thruster. You can get there by heading up the steep cliff and building a ramp from there to reach the part.
Install all the parts you collected and wait for the countdown to go down so you can launch the ship. Be careful not to let another player kill you before it’s done.
Enter the ship and you will find a character there. The ship will fly up and head for the stars.
