Looking for Dry Wells
Dry Wells is actually a location featured exclusively in the Fallout: New Vegas DLC Lonesome Road. It becomes available after the Legion bombing. The latter occurs as part of the final quest of the DLC, called “Apocalypse.” Before the warheads are launched, the Courier will have to face Ulysses, a memorable character who is extremely difficult to persuade.
The action will take place in a temple, where the Courier needs to engage in a tense conversation with the antagonist and try to influence the future of the factions.
If the character under the user’s control has pumped up eloquence (at level no less than 90), then he has a chance to avoid the fight. The situation will unfold similarly if a full set of holodisks is found or if ED-E is involved as a partner (located in the robot maintenance room ). The latter is able to reproduce important lines recorded in memory.
If you still can’t avoid a fight with Ulysses, remember that the enemy has a large HP reserve, as well as several techniques that can catch you off guard (using flashbang grenades and a stealth boy). Ulysses will also be assisted by robot eyes, if the Courier does not disable them in advance.

There are many useful items to find in Dry Wells. For example, there are containers with weapons, ammo, and modifications on the roadside.

If you go to the end of the location, the Courier will come across another box. It will be located on a ledge on the right side. The contents here completely depend on the character’s level . Thus, a high level will allow you to count on T-51b armor, and a low one – on T-45d.
Among other things, in Dry Wells the gamer can get the heavy armor of the 87th tribe. It adds ten action points in VATS, increases the hero’s charisma and gives a good chance of critical hits. To get the equipment, the Courier will have to find Gaius Magnus, and before that, provide a blow to the Legion as part of the Armageddon quest. The second way to get to Dry Wells
Above we described the standard procedure for visiting Dry Wells. For those who don’t want to bother with completing quests and difficult battles, console commands are always available. Yes, this is not a completely honest method, but it also needs to be mentioned.
All players need to do is enter the command “tmm 1” into the console. This will reveal all hidden markers on the map, including Dry Wells, and allow them to quickly travel there. To access the console, users need to press the tilde (“~”) key without pausing the game.
