An anagram is a word or phrase that is formed by rearranging the letters of another word or phrase. Some anagrams in English are: dog – god, admirer – married, eat-tea.
Types of anagrams
- Of letters . They conform when the same letters are used, but in a different order. For example: god – dog.
- Of words . Two or more words are extracted from a word, whose letters have the order altered. For example: a gentleman – elegant man.
