Happiness is a very simple word that is commonly used. Even a small child can explain the meaning of happiness. But how many of us really know the meaning of true happiness and how to achieve that state? Not much! Most people seek happiness outside.

They believe that they can be happy if they have some things or with some special people or are at a professional height. This is what they have been taught since childhood. While all the mentioned things are necessary for a good life, they cannot bring happiness.

Happiness is something that only you can bring for yourself. If you choose to be happy and channelize ideas accordingly, you will get happiness. However, it is not as simple as it seems. You need to make an effort to work on it. Secondly, it is not a one-time activity. To achieve this state you have to practice some things daily.

Now, when you have to seek the help of your family and friends many times, you have to seek happiness inside. These days many people suffer from depression, because they want to deal with their problems on their own and do not want to involve others. this is wrong! To get true happiness it is important to look inside but it is equally important to surround yourself with positive people.

Essay on happiness, 300 words:

Happiness is a state of bliss. If you train your brain to be in this state it will remain like this. This is because whatever your mind says, you have faith in it. However, it is not as simple as it seems. You can experience happiness from time to time, although it may take several months or even years to make this state final.

Ways to attract happiness and make it last:

According to recent studies, some habits to attract happiness and make it last are as follows:

Be Satisfied:  Instead of being super excited or depressed in different situations you should practice to convert these active emotions into quiet feelings and passive feelings like contentment. These feelings are healthy and also easy to maintain.

Live in the present:  You should stop thinking about your past mistakes. Mistakes happen the most; Nobody is fully skilled. Stop blaming yourself or feeling guilty for all the bad decisions you have taken in life. Stop worrying about your future too. Live in the present moment. Ignore the good times.

Being thankful:  Remember all your past moments and decisions that bring happiness and make them happy. Thank God for such happy moments.

Develop positive thoughts:  Your thoughts form your reality. Positive thoughts and positive minds attract positive things in life and negative thoughts get the same experience. So the only way to experience happiness is to feel good about everything you have.

Keep positive people around you:  Be clear with people who indulge in negative things or inspire you. Instead surround yourself with a positive mind.

It is easy to get away from negative thoughts and get into a state of anxiety and stress due to many things in life. However, you should always remind yourself of the good times and all the things about which you should be grateful. This is a good way to change your mood from negative to positive.

Happiness is basically a state of being happy and satisfied. Many philosophers have given different views on the subject, but the most prominent is that happiness comes from within and should not be explored in the outside world.

Money cannot buy happiness:

It is sad that people seek happiness outside. Many people associate happiness with money. If this happens then rich people would never be sad. But on the contrary, we see that it is the rich who are more anxious, fearful, stressed and often experience relationship problems and suffer from depression.

Celebrities like film stars, singers and ministers have no shortage of funds and yet the divorce rate of these people is much higher than the general public. These people are in constant fear of being chased or hit and therefore need protection at all times. They are more afraid of protecting their children.

They are also more victims of theft and robbery. Many of them have such a high flow of money that they constantly insist on where to invest or hide it. On the other hand, people from the poorer class are often more careless and happier.

This is not to say that being rich is a bad thing. Having money means that you have access to a lot of things. You can go on holidays, plan social gatherings, buy nice clothes, buy property, live in a nice area and much more and all this is a good good factor to be happy Is an essential component of.

However, the belief that you will be happy if you have all this is wrong. Materialistic things can make you happy moment to moment but cannot help in finding true happiness.

Happiness comes from within:

It has been rightly said, “You will find true happiness in life only when you realize that you only need” yourself “to be happy.” True happiness is within ourselves, it does not come from others ”. Many points have been emphasized at this point. But most people dismiss it as irrelevant.

It needs to be understood that happiness is basically a state of mind. This cannot be achieved by the things we see outside. We have the power to create it with the help of positive emotions which can be achieved by good thoughts.

It is basically our thoughts that make up our feelings. Therefore we need to work on building positive thoughts and positive attitude towards life and this will result in true happiness in the end.

Essay on happiness, 500 words:

Happiness is something that everyone yearns for, but very few people achieve it. The simpler it is to define, the harder it is to achieve. This is because people often associate it with people and things. Happiness is something that starts and ends with you. Only those who feel it will be able to attain true happiness.

Aristotle’s opinion about happiness:

Aristotle was a philosopher who wrote about happiness. He believed that happiness depends on our self. According to him, happiness is the main purpose of human life. He said that happiness is a goal in itself and it depends on virtue. However, Aristotle’s qualities are generally more individualistic than social ones.

According to Aristotle, a truly happy life requires the fulfillment of many conditions such as being physically and mentally fit. He has presented the theory of happiness in one of his most influential works, Nicomachian Ethics. This Aristotle theory also has relevance in today’s scenario.

According to him, happiness is the end that satisfies all needs. He says that almost everything we want is a good relationship, money, success or power because we believe that it will make us happy. It is to say that everything else is a means towards achieving happiness and happiness is an end in itself.

Happiness in a relationship:

Many people associate happiness with money and many people associate it with relationships. What they don’t understand is that they can never really be happy in a relationship if they are not happy with themselves. Relationship problems are increasing rapidly and the main reason behind this is that we expect too much from the other person.

We expect them to make us feel happy. We feed our brains with lies, we would be happy if our partner buys us this dress or ‘if our partner is planning a surprise for us we will be happy’. The problem is not just about the couple. The same happens with every relationship, whether it is a parent-child relationship, brother-sister relationship or friendship.

Here are some ways to help develop healthy and happy relationships:

Take care of yourself: Take  good care of yourself. Do not prioritize the other person over yourself and let him do the same. If you give too much and you don’t get anything in return then you are making a recipe for disappointment.

Take the initiative:  if you want to go somewhere, plan it yourself. Do not wait to take your partner or parent or child there. Let them know that they will like you if they come together. However, they do not disappoint if they refuse. Continue with your plan.

Place: It is necessary to give space to your partner and to demand your personal place in the relationship to form a healthy relationship.

We have unrealistic expectations from other people in our lives and believe that they will act a certain way if they truly love us. This is absolutely wrong. It only hurts the relationship rather than doing any good. It needs to be understood that the only person who can make you feel that you are really happy.

Happiness is a way of life, not something that can be achieved and kept. People spend their entire lives running with happiness but become dissatisfied. They are conditioned to believe that they will be happy if they enroll in a good college or if they get a good job or if they get a sensible life partner.

While all these help in creating a good life which is necessary to achieve happiness but these alone cannot bring happiness. Happiness is something that comes from within and not from external things.

Happiness according to Buddhism:

According to Buddhism, “Happiness does not depend on what you have or who you are.” It completely depends on your view. ”

Buddha believed that happiness begins with understanding the main causes of suffering. He has described an eighth path that helps control the mind and ultimately leads to happiness. However, this is not a one-time task. This has to be followed daily. The idea is to teach your mind to live in the past or worry about the future and live in the present. Here and now is the only place where you can experience peace and happiness.

The Buddha is described as “sometimes smiling”. His portrayals mostly portray him with a smile. This smile comes from within a deep composition. Buddhism states that true happiness can be attained by knowledge and practice to attain mental peace and can be attained by separating oneself from needs, desires and passions.

Happiness according to Hinduism:

According to Hinduism, happiness is attained by one’s actions, past deeds and the grace of God. Three types of pleasures are mentioned in Hindu scriptures. These are:

Physical pleasure: Also known as Bhutik Sukham, it can be attained by a comfortable life, physical pleasure and sensual pleasure.

Mental Delight : It is also known as mental bliss, it can be attained with a feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction. It is a state in which a person is free from all kinds of worries and worries.

Spiritual happiness: Also known as Adhyatmik Atmanandam, it can be attained when a person is able to come out of the cycle or birth and death and union with oneself. According to Hinduism the ultimate purpose of living is to experience supreme bliss in heaven as an independent soul.

Man can experience temporary happiness on earth by performing his duties but according to Hinduism permanent happiness can only be achieved in heaven by liberation.

Happiness – Essential for a good life:

Whether you are a student, a working professional, a housewife or a retired person – happiness is something that is necessary for each one of you to lead a good life. It is necessary for a person’s emotional well-being. If a person is not emotionally healthy, his overall health is likely to go down the drain in no time.

Unfortunately, even though happiness is extremely important, people do not pay much attention to the ways in which they can keep themselves happy. They are so engrossed in their professional lives and other funny characters in life that they forget to enjoy the good moments of life. No wonder the cases of stress, anxiety and depression are increasing day by day.

The definition of happiness and the approach to see and pursue it may vary according to different institutions, but the only meaning is to be in a happy state. The harder you work to earn and maintain your lifestyle, the more you work hard to find happiness, the better your life will be.
