Escape from Tarkov: The Long Road Quest Guide

Quests in Escape From Tarkov are sometimes the most tiring you can imagine. I personally know your frustration, especially with quests like The Long Road. Luckily, our guide at PGG explains what you need to do to complete the Long Road quest and where to do it.

How to complete the Long Road quest in Escape From Tarkov

The Long Road Quest is one of the many quests you accept as a skier . To complete the Long Road quest in Escape from Tarkov, you must eliminate 15 Scavs . However, there is one catch: you must kill 15 Scavs, but only along the main road on the Lighthouse map . When you find the main road, run along it until you meet the Scavs. You won’t find 15 Wilds on your first raid., so it’s best to do the quest passively while looting or doing other quests at the Lighthouse. Easy enough, right? Unfortunately, things aren’t that simple, as finding your way through certain maps, like the Lighthouse, can be an unimaginable pain. Luckily, we can help you find a way to navigate maps like Lighthouse or even Forest.

Where is the main road on the Lighthouse in Escape From Tarkov?

The main road runs along the central part of the map at the Lighthouse in Tarkov. Finding the main road can be tricky, as sometimes you spawn in wooded areas or far from roads and buildings. Luckily, with time in the game, you will be able to find landmarks that will help you get to the places you want to go. I recommend looking for online maps and trying to match what you see in the game with what services like map genie show you. You can also use community maps like the one below to help you find your way around the Lighthouse in Escape From Tarkov.

Use the map above to explore the Lighthouse map, and gradually learn to move towards the center of the map. Closer to the center, the main road passes through the lower part of the lighthouse. In short, it looks like a highway, so the whole idea is to look for a massive highway. But looking for the highway is not enough to find the main road, as many side roads can be mistaken for the main road.

Luckily, this is where the landmarks we mentioned earlier come into play. There are several locations along the main road such as Construction , Resort , Fishermen’s Huts , and Side Tunnel . Find out where these places/attractions are and you can find the main road nearby. For example, the main road from both the Resort and the Construction is shown below.

In addition to following these tips and tricks, we recommend watching some Tarkov gameplay videos/guides on YouTube. It can be very helpful, as it was for me, to understand where you need to go on most of Tarkov’s maps.
