Dungeon Crushers;guide to heroes

Everything you need to know about the heroes in Dungeon Crusher: lists of all the fighters, bonuses from sets, finding shards, tips for using altars and much more

“Dungeon Crushers” is an exciting (and, most importantly, completely free) role-playing clicker in which you are offered to collect a squad of heroes and then pump and improve them to go through several hundred levels. Below we cover everything there is to know about the characters in the game.

You can start playing Dungeon Crusher here .

Leveling heroes

To level up a hero, you must click on the “ Upgrade ” button next to his name immediately after hiring. Also at the top there is a special button that allows you to change the multiplicity of the level increase between 1/10/25/100 / Next / Max . Choosing Next means that when improving, the hero will be pumped to the level when his next skill is unlocked. Choosing Max will allow you to pump the hero to the highest possible level based on the amount of money.

As you level up your character, you increase the damage they deal. The cost of each next upgrade increases by 7% . That is, every 10 levels the price will almost double.

Bonuses for new levels

Almost all heroes (there are exceptions, including Grimbolt, the totem of souls and the player’s character) for every 25 levels receive a fourfold increase in damage from level 200 and 10 times every 1000 levels. Thanks to this, your first heroes can be useful in the later stages of the game. However, such a scheme also indicates that later heroes, although they swing longer, will provide you with better efficiency.

Hero stars

By collecting equipment, heroes receive stars. But to activate the equipment you need a complete set. Each star increases DPS 1000 times and adds 20% to the base parameters for the League and Sieges.

Rarity level

This parameter raises the level bar of the hero and the damage he inflicts. You can get a rarity upgrade every time you kill a daily boss, sometimes when you open a mystical chest, even less often from a mystic hideout. Also, to increase the rarity, the player can spend magic bottles or emeralds.

If a gamer has at least one star elixir, then in the menu for hiring a hero that does not belong to Galaxy X, it will be possible to select a character of increased rarity. Each Star Elixir increases rarity by 1 point.

All heroes

All heroes can be classified into several groups. So that you have at least a rough idea of them, below we have compiled several lists of characters, distributing them according to the method of obtaining.

Note . The base cost may vary depending on the number of dark rituals performed. Also, the lists below are compiled according to the same principle: from the cheapest hero with less DPS (damage per second) to the strongest in its category.

  • SitsriNushkilan , Kalethah , Katelah are dragons that are spawned when sacrificing each other.

In total, 167 heroes were listed on these lists. But there are 168 of them, since the “Totem of Souls”, which increases the number of received souls, belongs to the heroes. The game is being updated, so their number may only increase in the future.

Tips for using the altar

The altar is a special place that you open upon reaching level 400, and improve it by 1500. It allows you to sacrifice heroes so that later, after completing a dark ritual, you can get other characters or their fragments. That is why, when you use the altar, first of all, we recommend getting important hidden heroes – Sir Abe the Younger from Abe, Isolde from Tom, the Guardian and so on. When you get them, don’t re-sacrifice characters!

Remember that as soon as you open the altar, reaching level 400, you can use it at any convenient time. That is, it is not necessary to wait for your characters to get to this level again. Thus, to speed up the process of obtaining all hidden heroes, buy Bret the Merciless, upgrade him up to level 125 (that is, to the possibility of performing a dark ritual) and donate the necessary heroes to get copies. Then perform the dark ritual and repeat the actions “until victory.”

Then you will need to sacrifice simple heroes that you do not get for fragments. In turn, after the dark ritual, you will accumulate shards. Such sacrifices must be made just before the dark ritual so that the characters return immediately. Low level heroes are best equipped before sacrificing. This will give you more shards. Greenswold is an example.

Before sacrificing a shard-bought hero, make sure you have enough shards to reactivate it. At the bottom of the hero you see the number of shards (in green). That is, in this case, you donate only shards.

Collect the shards of the heroes until you get to level 1501 when you get the improved altar. It will replace the previous one.

Characters with increased rarity will give fewer shard sets than you would buy a set with emeralds. This is true up to legendary rarity. Thus, even starting characters should not be sacrificed if their rarity is increased.

10 rank points are more profitable than one set of shards. Therefore, before sacrificing such heroes, you should reset all his ranks. The only exception is you purposefully want to burn those glasses.

Hero Sets

Below you will see 10 squads (2-4 heroes in each) of characters, when using which you will receive certain bonuses:

  • Great Unclean. Gnome Miner / Skeleton / Dandy. You will receive 10% more souls.
  • Blessing Cupcake. Drow Fighter / Drow Witch. The damage dealt to all your heroes is increased by 20%.
  • A Song of Ice and Fire. Ice Elga / Lord Draador. The damage dealt to all your heroes is increased by 50%.
  • Spiritual connection. Whisperer / Ghost / Ufir, Ancient Demon. The damage dealt to all your heroes is increased by 200%.
  • Learning is Light! Albert / Tikola Nesla (a hint of Einstein and Tesla?). You will receive 75% more Science Points.
  • Halo of Eternal Confrontation. Aurora, Angel of Hope / Raziel, Angel of Despair / Eltor, Angel of Balance. Similar to the previous point.
  • The seal of the east. Xing-tian / Nuiwa / Ao Kuan. Increases siege points gained by 25%.
  • Glory to the robots! HT-02/6 / Meharion / Dal’ek. You get 75% more influence points.
  • Blessing of the Gods. Zeus the Thunderer / Lord Miktlan / Inpu. You get 50% more points for the weekly ranking.
  • Curse of demons. Caramal the destroyer / Surgrazoth the defiler / Agakhoz the devastator / Kozintch changing paths. Similar to the previous point.

In “Dungeon Crushers”, each hero has his own set of skills and level increase in efficiency (that is, a fighter from the middle of the list at high levels may be stronger than the character we put at the end, since for increasing the level his effectiveness will increase by 20% instead of 5% ). These and other mechanics can be tricky to figure out on your own, so stay tuned for new guides on the site!
